Chapter 1754

Leah felt that Gary's call was a little odd. Leah didn't come back to her senses even after the callended.

She turned to look at Ernest.

"What's wrong?" Ernest looked at her.novelbin

"Your brother was so affectionate towards me." She finally came back to her senses.

Ernest smiled. "That's right. It seems like he approves of you."

Leah nodded. "That's why I feel a little dizzy."

What if they were not right for each other?

When Ernest looked down, he saw how much of a daze Leah was in. He couldn't help saying,"Don't think too much about it. Just wait until we get married. It's normal for you to get close tothem."

"Hey, who said I'm going to marry you?" Leah pursed her lips.

All of a sudden, Ernest pinned her to the well. He pressed down on her and put his head close toher ears. He threatened her in a hoarse voice. "If you don't want to marry me, then who do you wantto marry? I shouldn't have let you go just now. I should have punished you severely."

"Okay, okay, I was wrong." Leah was smart and quickly apologized to Ernest.

Ernest gazed at Leah intently. He heaved a sigh of relief and said, "It's good that you know. In thefuture, it's best if you don't say these things."

"But why are you so sure that you will marry me in the future?" Leah couldn't help but ask.

Ernest stared at Leah and frowned. He smiled after some time. "That's because I am Ernest."

Leah was shocked.

His answer was so aggressive and dominant that she could not refute him.

He said he was Ernest.

That's right. That itself was already enough.

Ernest was so domineering.

In the dining room downstairs, the butler had already placed all the food on the table. However, none of the young masters or young ladies had come down yet.

From the looks of it, he didn't know how long it would take for them to come down.

He suddenly heard footsteps as he was thinking about it.

Ernest and Leah came down together. They happened to see Liam and Maria on the second floor atthe same time.

The four of them met at the stairs. What a coincidence.

Liam smiled. "What a coincidence."

"Yeah, Liam, what a coincidence." Ernest also greeted him with a smile.

Maria and Leah looked at each other without saying anything. Their eyes held many emotions.

The emotions in their eyes were complaints against their boyfriends. They were filled with love andexhaustion.

They didn't need to say anything. They understood each other.

When the butler saw them coming down together, he happily slapped his thigh. "Masters, ladies, thedishes are ready. Eat it while it is still warm. Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas, Mr. Butler." Replied Ernest lightly.

"Merry Christmas, young masters and young ladies." The butler was overjoyed to see them.

He didn't have to reheat the food anymore. All of them had come down. They could finally starteating.

The butler and chef could get off work earlier too.

If they hadn't come down, then the food would have to be reheated. That would take up too muchtime.

Although this was part of the butler's job, who didn't wish that their job could be easier?

That was why he was so enthusiastic when he saw them. He was unable to hide his enthusiasm.

Ernest calmly looked at the butler. From the butler's expression, he could probably guess why hewas so happy.

Ernest was also a sinister person. "You might have to get off work late today. You would have toprepare supper if we get hungry at night."

The butler looked at Ernest, slightly stunned.

Ernest glared at him.

The butler quickly nodded. "Yes, Master Ernest. That won't be a problem."

Liam and Maria held back their laughter. They understood the reason why Ernest was saying that.

The butler was always gossiping about them. But today, the butler had been embarrassed twice. Itmade them feel satisfied.

After the butler left, they all burst into laughter.

"The butler is surely going to be busy now." Maria couldn't help but sympathize with the old man.

"He'd better be busy. He needs to be busy so that he won't be gossiping," Ernest said lightly.

He didn't think that he was taking it too far.

Later that night, he was going to continue what he didn't finish earlier. By then, Leah would be tired, and he would also feel hungry. Preparing supper would be killing two birds with one stone.

When Leah heard that Ernest had instructed the butler to prepare supper, she instantly felt a littlesad.

She seemed sadder than before. The butler wasn't going to be the only one suffering tonight. Shewould have to suffer too. She couldn't help but let out a sigh.

She only had herself to blame. She had come all the way to London to have sex with him but shehadn't expected that she wouldn't have enough strength.

"Ah!" Leah sighed again.

Ernest immediately turned to look at Leah when he heard her sigh. The look in his eyes wereplayful, but it was also terrifying.

"Why are you sighing? We have supper to eat tonight. It's better than staying hungry, right?" Mariasaid.

"I guess you're right. Then we should ask the butler to prepare more supper for us. You wouldn'twant to be hungry at night, would you?" Leah immediately asked Maria.

Maria blinked and felt that something was wrong.

Leah phrased it a different way. "Maria, I remember that you said you wanted Liam and I to talkabout the role. I'm very tired today and my brain isn't working properly. Should we discuss it tonight?

Maria immediately understood. Leah was threatening her. Did she think that she wasn't helping her?

Maria felt aggrieved too.

She really wanted to help her, but was that enough to justify so many of Ernest's lonely days?

It was rare for this man to have his girlfriend by his side. How could she take away their precioustime together?

Maria couldn't make up her mind.

Should she help Leah, or should she help Ernest? It wasn't a good idea to offend either of them.

Leah glanced at her again. She had a threatening look in her eyes.

"Leah, I said that you should introduce the roles to Liam so that he would have a betterunderstanding of them. You can also better explain the characters. However, how could I bear totake up your precious time with Ernest? After all, you both just got together."

Leah smiled faintly. "Then I should thank you. Let's not make that group chat then. It's a waste oftime, isn't it?"

Maria was stunned. She immediately shook her head. "No, we still need to create the group."

"They don't have the time," Leah looked at Ernest and Liam and said meaningfully, "They're toobusy. It is said that a man should have high ambitions. However, I don't see them having any of it.All I see is their ambitions in bed."
