Ernest was shocked by Leah's question.
He then smiled evilly and asked, "So, you came all this way just to sleep with me?"
As he spoke, his voice was exceptionally husky.
Leah immediately felt somewhat shy as she looked at Ernest. She was a little frustrated withherself. Why did she just blurt everything out like that?
Ernest understood what she was feeling and smiled. He said, "So what should I say? You're verymuch welcome to sleep with me?"
Although it delighted Leah to hear that, it was still kind of embarrassing.
Leah said with a pout, "If you know what's going on, why do you have to ask me about it?"
Ernest's deep, alluring laugh rang out in her ear.
"Why? Are you embarrassed?"
Leah wanted to retort, but in the end she just nodded with a blush on her face.
She was flustered.
After all, she was a girl. Although she was bold, she still had shyness befitting of a woman.

Leah was still far too shy to look at him, so she pressed her face into his chest.
Ernest hugged her tightly before he said in a doting voice. "It's been more than two hours. Shouldwe head downstairs for a meal?"
"What? That's quick!" Leah exclaimed in surprise as she looked up. "How long has it been? Twohours? Are we late? We shouldn't let them wait too long."
"Well, it's been half an hour past the two hour mark," Ernest replied.
"Oh." Leah sat up right away and said, "Let's head downstairs. Maria and Liam must have waited forsome time, and it's not a good idea to keep them waiting."
However, Ernest was not in a hurry at all. He said lazily, "Don't worry, they can wait."
"No, get up! Come on, hurry." Leah urged.
Ernest reluctantly decided to get up and get dressed when he saw how anxious Leah was.
They sorted themselves out quickly before they headed downstairs.
When they arrived, they didn't see Maria and Liam, but the butler was very busy preparing the food.
The dining room was filled with flowers, and the dishes on the table were all delicious. It looked verysumptuous, and there was even a Christmas cake, which looked very cute. Several strawberriesmade up the figure of Santa Claus.
"Butler, have Maria and Liam returned?" Ernest asked as he walked down the stairs.
The butler was shocked. When he turned around and saw Ernest, the butler's eyes lit up as theylanded on Leah.
"Wow, who is this?" The butler immediately had a curious look on his face.
Leah couldn't hold in her laughter when she saw the butler.
Maria had told her long ago about their butler who had a penchant for gossiping about their affairs.
Then, Ernest took Leah's hand and they walked downstairs together.
This one action had already confirmed Leah's identity to the butler.
"Oh, this beautiful and lovely girl must be Master Ernest's girlfriend. Hello, I am the butler here. Ifyou need anything, I am at your service." The butler smiled at Leah.
After that, Ernest said, "Butler, this is Leah Winston, my girlfriend. She just arrived in London today."
"Yup, figured as much. You wouldn't have held her hand if she wasn't your girlfriend, Master Ernest.Furthermore, you've never brought a girl home before." The butler smiled at Leah once again."Welcome, Miss Winston."
"Thank you, just call me Leah." Leah smiled politely at the butler.
The butler shook his head. "Ah, that's not very appropriate, no? Oh yes, Miss Maria mentioned thatthey'd come home only after you came downstairs."
Ernest and Leah exchanged surprised glances.
Leah's eyes widened.
Ernest replied, "See? There was no need to be so worried. Maria and Liam do this all the time."
He was saying that they should spend more time resting upstairs.
She had to keep her energy up so they could spend a beautiful Christmas together.
Of course, they couldn't waste tonight either.
Leah looked at Ernest with a complicated expression before she pursed her lips and said, "I didn'texpect them to do that."
"I'll call them right away," The butler said and went to make the call.
However, no one picked up.
The butler made several calls, but no one answered.
"Miss Maria and Master Liam are out on a date, and they've lost track of time. They've evenforgotten to pick up the phone. They must be busy. Master Ernest, how about you go back upstairswith Miss Winston to rest? I'll call you when they return home."
Ernest glanced at the butler and said, "Can you help pack some snacks for Leah and I? We'll have itupstairs."
"Sure, no problem." The butler immediately picked up a tray and loaded it with delicious snacks,fruits and meats. "Would you like me to take it upstairs for you?"
"Nope," Ernest took the tray and said to the housekeeper, "Slice half of the cake up for us."
The housekeeper was stunned and looked at the cake. They had not celebrated together yet, sohow could it be cut?
"Butler, do you really think Maria and Liam will be back soon?" Ernest asked.

"They won't be back tonight, surely." Ernest immediately ruined the butler's hopes.
"I'll give you half of the cake right now. Wait, perhaps you should take the whole thing. I'll makeanother one," The butler replied.
Ernest smiled at the butler and said, "That's more like it. Thanks."
He brought the food and Leah upstairs before he came down for the cake. Then, the butler smiledteasingly. "Master Ernest, your girlfriend is quite beautiful and cute indeed."
Ernest frowned as soon as he heard that, and he threw a pointed look at the butler. "I know howgood-looking my girlfriend is. I don't want you to keep looking at her."
The butler paused before he waved his hand. "Master Ernest, that's not what I'm doing. I'm justsaying you have good taste."
"Thank you." Ernest smiled faintly and went upstairs with the cake.
When he returned, Leah asked in confusion, "How do you know that Liam and Maria won't be backso soon?"
"That's because Liam is going home soon, and they'll cherish every moment of alone time theyhave." Ernest pinned Leah down onto the bed and looked into her eyes. "Plus, I think they assumedwe won't leave our bed anytime soon, so that's why they decided not to come back."
"Huh? Really? Can we do that?" Leah was taken aback.
Didn't they agree to have a meal together?
"Well, not really, but they should understand the feeling of meeting your long- distance partner,"Ernest smiled at Leah and said, "I've been deprived for a very long time. Gary, Celeste, Liam, Maria,and my parents have all made my life very hard with their displays of affection. Honestly, it reallyriled me up, but thankfully you're here to help me calm down."
