Chapter 1695

After being mocked, Sinclair's expression stiffened and he looked a little embarrassed.

He looked at Heinz and smiled awkwardly. "I can't deny that at all. It's true that I can't live withoutwomen."

Heinz chuckled and looked at Sinclair. If it wasn't for the fact that he already had some insights onSinclair, he wouldn't understand this man at all.

Heinz could never relate the gentleman standing in front of him to the shameless old man in themessy footages he saw.

However, it was the reality.

Perhaps it was because of his good looks that he got to fool around with women.

Heinz narrowed his eyes and stared at Sinclair without saying anything.

Sinclair felt like he was sitting on pins and needles as he was being judged.

He calmed himself down and asked, "Mr. Jones, may I know why you're here today?"

"I thought you would have figured that out," Heinz said lightly.

Sinclair paused and lowered his eyes. There was a hopeful glint in his eyes. He adjusted hisemotions and said again, "Mr. Jones, there's something that you may not know yet."

"Oh?" Heinz raised an eyebrow and showed a playful smile. "What is it that I don't know? Is theresomething that even I haven't found out about yet?"

Sinclair stiffened a little. Perhaps Heinz already knew about that, but he still had to tell him.

"Yes, Mr. Jones, you are right. You will know anything you wish to know," Sinclair said, trying toflatter Heinz. "Anyway, now that you're here, I still find it necessary to tell you this. Your son'sgirlfriend, she's actually my daughter."

Heinz was still calm.

He knew Sinclair would be bringing it up. He knew Sinclair would use all means just to make hiscomeback, using all his connections.

He would use Celeste too.

He would really use everything and everyone he could to his means.

What a selfish, horrible man.

He was very disappointed in Sinclair.

Sinclair couldn't read his emotions, and he had no choice but to continue explaining shamelessly,"Celeste is my daughter. I've made some mistakes when I was younger, and I had wrongedCeleste's mother. That was why Celeste had to suffer so much and even became homeless, andhad to live under someone else's roof. Fortunately, she found you, Mr. Jones.

I heard that you and your wife have been treating Celeste well, and even see her as your owndaughter. It's fortunate for her and I'm extremely grateful to you all."

As he spoke, he bowed deeply to Heinz.

Heinz was just looking at him indifferently. It was as if he could see right through him. He wasn'tmoved at all.

Sinclair raised his head and saw that Heinz had remained silent, without reacting at all.

He suddenly felt embarrassed, not knowing what he had on his mind.

What did his attitude mean?

Sinclair then looked at Alex, only to notice that Alex was also looking at him indifferently just likeHeinz. He couldn't read their emotions at all.

They were staring at him coldly. Their gazes were sharp and icy.

"Mr. Jones, you look so calm. Have you already found out about Celeste's identity?" Sinclair askedagain. Although it was embarrassing, he was left with no choice.

"Yes, I did," Heinz said faintly. His tone was full of disdain and heartlessness as he said again,"Sinclair, everything was going just fine until you mentioned the one thing you really shouldn't have. What were you thinking? Are you trying to make Celeste sound more pitiful than she already was?"

Sinclair was startled before saying, "Mr. Jones, what do you mean? She's my only daughter. Ofcourse I am emotional about her."

"Well, you should be emotional." Heinz nodded.

Sinclair also nodded firmly. "Yes, that's right. I'm very emotional. She's my only daughter."

"Is she your last resort?" Heinz questioned. His gaze was even more scornful as he saw rightthrough him.

Sinclair gasped as he looked at Heinz. He could understand what Heinz meant.

He smiled and said blatantly, "Yes, she is indeed my last resort to not only my miserable life, butalso my soul. Her existence makes me happy, and I'm even happier to know that we will be in-laws

soon, Mr. Jones. Even if she doesn't acknowledge me, she won't be able to change the fact that Iam her father. Am I right?"

"You sound so confident about your shameless acts." Heinz laughed. "You're right, you're indeedher biological father, and no one can change this fact. However, you can only hold on to thisdelusion for the rest of your life."

"Mr. Jones, I don't mind you mocking me. I wouldn't mind anyone mocking me at this point, would I?I believe you have seen the footage of my intimate acts, haven't you?" Sinclair asked shamelessly.

Heinz nodded and looked at Sinclair's hip. He then gave him an evil smirk and asked, "Mr. Stone, Iwonder if you've recovered over there."novelbin

Sinclair froze in place in embarrassment.

Alex couldn't help but to twitch his lips too. Heinz was being extremely straightforward.

Sinclair said awkwardly while he twitched his lips, "Mr. Jones, thank you for your concern. I'mrecovering just fine."

"Sinclair, I think it's safe to say that you're the only one who still can fool around while recovering. You're indeed adventurous," Heinz continued to mock him. "However, I'm here today to tell youofficially that if you plan on becoming my in-law, you can no longer act this freely around."

"Are you saying that you're acknowledging me as your in- law?" Sinclair got excited upon hearingthat. He didn't think much of anything else, as he thought he was hopeful again.

If he could become Heinz's in-law, there would be hopes for him.

"As you said, I can't change the fact that you are Celeste's biological father, and naturally we willbecome in-laws too. However, I'm sending you to prison as well," Heinz said indifferently with a light

smile.

Sinclair, who was originally hopeful, was startled upon hearing that. He stared at Heinz blankly, andthen burst into laughter. "Mr. Heinz, you're really funny. If I'm sentenced to jail, you will only beembarrassing yourself, won't you? I'm Celeste's father after all. It wouldn't look good on you forsending me to jail."

"You don't seem to know me well." Heinz laughed. "Since I'm already here, it means that I havealready prepared everything in advance. I'm not sending only you to jail, but Cindy too. Do youreally think you'd be able to get out of this after running away from our country?"

Sinclair's face turned pale. "Are you serious?"

Heinz nodded. "Yes, I am serious, more than anything else."
