Chapter 169

Remi snorted, "He doesn't really want me to go. He was just trying to scare me."

Grace looked at the girl in front of him, who had just removed her mask. She looked much younger

than when she had the mask on.

The colour on her face slowly drained away, as if she was trying to suppress her anger.

Grace didn't know that Heinz had any kind of relationship with Remi.

"Really?" Grace shrugged. "Even so, it's not really up to you give me a warning, isn't it?"

Grace found the situation a little funny. Why does everyone like to order her around?

"You'd better stay away from him. He has never been with a woman. If it weren't you pestering him, he

would not have come and spend the night with you." Remi stared at her and said in a low voice, "You

were manipulating him."

It was just yesterday that Grace lied to her about being gay. If she hadn't seen with her own eyes that

Heinz and Grace stayed in the room for the whole night, she absolutely wouldn't believe that that man

was Heinz.

"You're so funny." Grace rolled her eyes. "If Heinz really wants to be with me, what does it have to do

with you? Who are you to him? How dare you order me around like this?"

"I knew him since I was a child.1' Remi replied candidly, "When I met him, God knows where you were."

"Uh." Grace was a little surprised. "So you know him, but does he know you?"

No matter how she looked at it, she could tell that Heinz didn't recognise her at all.

"Of course he knows me. He even bought me a present."

"Uh, really?" Grace was in a trance for a moment. "Since you both are old acquaintances, you can talk

to him and let him listen to you."

"You tell him." Remi replied.

"What should I tell him?" Grace laughed sheepishly, "Tell him to have a little more... self-control?"

"Shame on you." Remi was so embarrassed at the sexual connotation that her face went red, and she

couldn't speak for a moment.

Grace frowned and asked, "Who's the shameless one here?"

Remi's face turned pale and her eyes turned bloodshot. "You are so shameless."

"It's none of your business whether I'm shameless or not. Get out. If you need anything, just look for

Heinz. Don't come and bother me."

"Humph!" Remi furiously stomped her feet out of the room.

Grace found it rather bizarre.

If they really knew each other, why didn't he greet her yesterday?

Her mind was filled with doubts, she was in a daze when Heinz came in.

"Why are you day-dreaming?"

He walked over and sat on the bed. She looked as if a million thoughts were running through her mind.

Suddenly she snapped back to her senses, and noticed his presence. She looked at his handsome

face and said, "Heinz, do you know Remi Walter?"

"Remi Walter?" Heinz frowned and asked, "Why would I know this person? Is he a guy or a girl? What

does he or she do?"

"Uh." Grace felt that he wasn't pretending. She observed his reactions and found that he was being

sincere. "I'm talking about the nurse earlier. Her name is Remi Walter."

"I don't know her." Heinz answered indifferently. "Why should I know her?"

"She knows you," Grace said.

"There are so many people in this world who knows me. Why would I know her then?" Heinz went to

wash his hands. When he returned, he noticed that Grace's eyes were still searching for the truth. He

frowned and said, "Are you okay? Why did you ask about her?"

"She came in just now to threaten me and asked me to stay away from you." Grace said, "She sounded

like your wife, like you belonged to her. God, I've never seen such a pompous woman."

"She must be sick." Heinz sneered and said, "Maybe her imagination is a little bit too wild?" "Doesn'tnovelbin

look like it." Grace shook her head. Judging from Heinz's indifference, she sighed and said, "Heinz, are

you sure you don't remember her? She said she knew you from a long time ago."

Heinz looked at her for a while and snorted again. He took out some food and handed it to her. "Thank

goodness she said she knew me from a long time ago. If she said we had a special relationship, would

you believe her too?"

Grace looked away as she took a sip of her soup. She then looked up at Heinz. "So are you hoping

that I believe her? Or that I don't believe her?"

"Nonsense." Heinz picked up a biscuit and stuffed it into her mouth. "This is a waste of time."

Is he trying to say he doesn't waste his time on unnecessary people?

Grace opened her mouth again, her lips searching for the words to say.

Heinz interrupted before Grace was able to utter a word, "Eat, don't let unnecessary people ruin your

appetite."

"Okay!" Grace nodded and began to eat.

When they were almost done with the food, Heinz observed that she had a good appetite and was not

affected by their previous discussion at all.

He frowned and couldn't help asking, "You asked me so many questions earlier, and yet you still have

such a good appetite?"

"Is it bad that I have a good appetite?" Grace asked back, "Did you think I will lose my appetite

because of that?"

"Wouldn't you be?"

"Why should I?" Grace uttered, "If I don't have a man, I won't starve to death. But I'll starve to death if I

don't eat. Why should I put myself through such misery?"

"You!" Heinz gritted his teeth. "You really are something."

Grace chuckled, grabbed his hand, and shook it with a smile, "Don't be upset. I think that Nurse Remi

was just overthinking. I know that you're not that kind of person, hence I can eat without worries."

A hint of tenderness flashed through his eyes when he saw that she was acting so coquettishly to

please him. He stared at her deeply and leaned forward, wanting to kiss her.

At this time, the door opened.

Remi entered the room with a box of medicine. When she saw them being intimate, her eyes widened,

"Ahem-"

She coughed.

Heinz frowned and was very unhappy to be interrupted. He looked at Remi sharply and shouted in a

deep voice, "Don't you know how to knock?"

"I'm sorry." Remi whispered, nervously holding the tray, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Let's change the attending nurse," Heinz snapped.

"Ah?" Remi's eyes widened in an instant. "Mr. Jones, did I do something wrong?"

Heinz glanced at her. "What do you think?"

Remi looked at Grace and asked, "Miss Smith, was it something you said?”

Grace nodded and said, "Yes, I told him that you two knew each other since a long time ago."

Remi's lips parted slightly, but she didn't say anything.

At this moment, Lester arrived and knocked at the door.

"President!"

As soon as he saw Lester, Heinz wanted to say something, but Remi spoke first, "Brother Lester."

Lester was also stunned when he saw her.

Remi took off her mask. "I am Mimi."

"Remi?" Lester was taken aback and suddenly realized, "Did you graduate to be a nurse already?"

Remi nodded. "Yes, It's been two years since I started working as a nurse."

Heinz quietly watched them reminiscing. He frowned, "If you two want to talk about the old days,

please leave the room and have another nurse attend to us."

Lester was stunned and immediately said, "President, this is Remi Walter, the daughter of Butler Walter

of the Jones family. You have supported her financially for her studies."
