Chapter 1679

Seeing Michael leave, Sinclair glanced at Cindy and said, "He's completely broke now. Are youseriously going to take care of him?"

"Yes, of course I will," Cindy nodded. She went to get some water and tossed Sinclair a bottle.

Sinclair grabbed it and placed it on the table. He changed the topic, "I'll use the washroom first."

After five minutes, Sinclair came out.

When he saw Cindy eating bread, he walked over and popped open the bottle of water. Afterdowning half a bottle, he grabbed the bread on the table and dug in.

"You are pretty capable now to be able to take care of a grown man," Sinclair snickered.

"It's just a man, so of course I can take care of him," Cindy smiled, "After all, I need a man too, and Ican't spend money to buy one, can I? Furthermore, Michael and I have been in a relationship formany years. I am a person who will return a favor as long as the other party is worthy of it. To put itbluntly, Michael has not done me wrong."

"Oh, do you mean that I have done you wrong? So did Monica, right? Is that why you have treatedus so badly?" Sinclair's face was dark as he ate his bread.

"That's right, you and Monica have really done a lot of sorry things to me. This is an indisputablefact."

Sinclair stopped talking and ate his bread in silence.

Cindy glanced at him and asked, "Why don't you go back to your place and see what Monica hasswindled away from you?"

Sinclair was not worried at all. He shrugged nonchalantly, "I don't have anything else back at myplace apart from daily necessities. Now that she is gone, I am sure there's nothing left."

"Are you sure she's left?" Cindy raised her eyebrows.

"She has," Sinclair nodded, "She must have taken my money and left. She doesn't need meanymore. Since she has money now, she will go to a different place and find another man moresuitable for her."

Cindy chuckled, "Go to the company to find Celeste yourself. You have seen her photo, and youknow who she is too. Go there and wait for her. I'm not going anymore. I am tired."

"What? You're not going anymore?" Sinclair was angry, "You are always doing things based on yourmood. Is this a joke to you?"

"That's right. I'm just playing around with you. Do you need me to give you a reason for why I'mdoing so?" Cindy asked with a smile.

Sinclair was infuriated. He glared at her, turned around and stormed away.

With that, he left.

Cindy smirked to herself. After locking the door, she went upstairs.

Michael had just finished taking a shower upstairs and was changing his clothes. When he sawCindy coming in, he asked at once, "Cindy, how's the situation over there?"

"I didn't manage to meet Celeste and they said that Celeste was not there. It seems that they knewwe were coming. Sinclair and I waited for a long time, but we never saw them. I'm not going backlater, and I don't care whether Sinclair goes or not. It's his daughter, not mine. I don't want to goanymore," Cindy laid on the bed and sighed deeply, "I am so, so tired..."

"You do look tired," Michael shook his hands. His wrists were still uncomfortable because of howlong he was tied up.

"Monica is really vicious," Cindy glanced at

Michael and added fuel to the fire, "Now that she has done you and Sinclair dirty, Sinclair is going tobe all alone. How pitiful! Haha!"

"If she didn't do me dirty, how would I know how precious you are to me?" Michael held Cindy'shand gently, "From now on, I won't have any thoughts about any other woman. I am fully yours,Cindy."

Cindy looked at him and smiled, "Okay, Michael, you don't have to worry too. As long as I amaround, I am all yours, I won't let you suffer."

"Thank you," Michael looked extremely grateful. He looked at Cindy with deep affection in his eyes.

When Sinclair returned to his place, he opened the door and realized that no one was there. Hesearched every corner of the house but could not find Monica anywhere.

He frowned and returned to the bedroom, only to find a letter on the pillow.

Sinclair went forward to open it.

He read what Monica wrote.

"Sinclair, I am leaving. I have been pestering you for over 20 years, but nothing significant has everhappened. I give up. This time, I am really leaving you. I won't see you again, and you don't have tolook for me."

It was just a short message. Sinclair's fingers tightened around the paper, crumpling it under hisstrength.

"D*mn it, she left. She actually left quietly. She really only used me to get here, that d*mned b*tch."

After he swore for a while, Sinclair went downstairs and called his driver, "Come here and help medrive."

Soon after, his driver came and drove him to the company.

This time, Sinclair immediately walked to the front desk. He asked, "I am looking for Celeste White."

"No one in our company is called that," The receptionist said.

"You people won't let me see her, I know it," Sinclair grunted.

"Mr. Stone, please leave. We are about to get off work. Sorry, I don't have time to explain this toyou," The receptionist gave him the order to leave again.

Sinclair was furious.

He sat in the car and waited. However, no matter how long he waited, Celeste never showed up.

However, he saw Alex.

He was just about to get out of the car. However, after thinking about his scandals, he decided tostay.

This afternoon, Sinclair did not manage to meet Celeste. He was greatly disappointed and wentback.

Upon seeing how disappointed he was, the driver asked, "Mr. Stone, do you want to find someoneto keep an eye on there?"

"Yes, we should. If we don't keep an eye on her, it will be very difficult to find her," Sinclair closed hiseyes and sighed, "Send a few people to find Monica's whereabouts."

"Yes."

With that, he returned to his house.

Sinclair felt very lonely. Despite having such a large house, there was no one to talk to. He couldonly talk to himself.

He picked up his phone and called Suanne.

However, no one answered the phone. Suanne did not answer his call.

Meanwhile, when Suanne found that Sinclair was calling her, she could only smirk sadly.

That man was actually calling her. Shame on him.

Just then, her phone rang again. This time, it wasn't Sinclair, but Monica.

Suanne was stunned and answered the call.

Monica spoke.

"Hey, Suanne."

"Why are you calling me?" Suanne asked coldly.

"To apologize," Monica was sincere, "I think I should apologize to you. I am sorry for cheating withyour husband."

"Apologizing? Are you joking? What are you up to now?" Suanne sneered and mockedsarcastically.

"I know that you don't trust me, and I know my current situation well. I called you this time because Iwant to tell you that Sinclair has an estate in London, and he has a foreign bank account as well. You are husband and wife. What you do is your business."

Suanne was dumbfounded. After thinking for a while, she asked, "Did you have a falling out withSinclair?"

"I guess so, we are just a joke. After all these years, I was just a tool to him," Monica smiled bitterly,"Now that I have realized that, it is too late. I called you to apologize and to bid farewell to the past. Ihope that I can have a new beginning in the future."

Suanne scoffed, "Why should I believe your words? Who knows if you are telling me the truth?" "Ihave evidence of Sinclair's bank account. I will send it to you later. As for what you want to do withthat information, that's between you and your lawyer. I swear that it's the truth."

"Don't be so dignified. I don't, and will never trust you," Suanne replied coldly, "Goodbye."

After that, she ended the call mercilessly.

Monica held the phone in her hands and smiled bitterly. It seemed that no one believed her.

Forget it, it was her karma anyways. She sent the text and some information to Suanne. Then, shetook out her sim card and sealed it in a plastic bag.

After that, she booked a flight to Mexiland with another phone number.

Soon, Gary also received a call, "Mr. Jones, Monica has booked a flight to Mexiland. She will departat 10:30 tonight."

"She's going to Mexiland?" Gary was shocked, "Where is she now? I need to see her."novelbin

"I will send you the address."

"Okay."

A while later, Gary received the address.

Celeste asked him, "Are you going to see Monica?"

At that moment, Gary had already brought Celeste home. The villa was safe, and he nodded toreply to Celeste's question, "Monica has a lot of information about Cindy. I want it. Perhaps we willbe able to use Monica's information on Cindy as proof against Cindy."
