Chapter 1587

Leah was shocked that Ernest would actually usher her an order. Her big eyes flickered as shelooked at Ernest. She couldn't help but laugh.

"Ernest, are you shy? It's not a big deal. This is a normal physical reaction. I won't tease you, there'snothing to be shy about."

Although he said she wouldn't make fun of him, Leah's mouth had already cracked into a smile, revealing her neat pearly teeth.

Ernest glanced at her and felt a little dazzled by her perfectly aligned teeth. He let out a small sighand said helplessly, "If you want to laugh, go ahead laugh. You don't have to hold it in like that."

"I don't want to laugh, I just want to know what this kind of dream feels like?" Leah blinked andlooked at Ernest. "Who was the female lead in your dream? Can you tell me?"

Hearing this, Ernest's eyes suddenly became sharp. His eyes bore into Leah's. It would be tooembarrassing if he were to tell Leah.

He could only reply quickly, "There was no female lead."

"What are you talking about? How can there not be some sort of female lead? You wouldn't havedreamed of it if there wasn't a girl at the center of it. I've interrogated a few boys and all of themhave confirmed that there is a girl in their dreams. You're trying to fool me because I'm a girl, aren'tyou?"

Ernest frowned and asked, "You've interrogated people about this? Who did you interrogate?Hogan?"

Ernest's tone became sharper and Leah shrugged her shoulders. "I never asked him anything. Howcould I ask him anything? I put up the question online and many men answered them. What's wrong

with that?"

Ernest breathed a sigh of relief but also felt powerless at the same time. Leah was a reallysurprising person, there was always something to be unexpected when it came to her.

Just like now, she kept asking a barrage of questions, catching Ernest unprepared. His shock aside,he was left with appreciating how cute and bold she was.

"Just tell me about it, Ernest. Was the girl in your dream beautiful?"

Ernest stared into Leah's eyes and said word by word, "Alright, I'll tell you, there was a girl in mydream and she was pretty, okay? But I couldn't see her face clearly."

"See? I told you there was a girl. You lied to me just now." Leah laughed coyly. "You were afraid I'dmake fun of you, weren't you?"novelbin

With an embarrassed smile, Ernest looked at her with a playful look. If she continued asking, hemight as well tell her that the girl who appeared in his dream was her.

He wanted to see how she would take it.

But Leah stopped asking questions. Some of the ones she had asked were more or less the same.If she continued to ask, it would probably make the air awkward.

She glanced at Ernest and smiled as if she understood the meaning behind the look in his eyes.

Ernest let out a sigh of relief when she stopped asking about his dream.

Who knew that Leah would say, "Continue washing your clothes thoroughly then. Hang them on mybalcony after you're done, they'll dry soon. Oh, by the way, are you wearing a pair of boxers rightnow? Nothing's empty there, right?"

Ernest was speechless like before and looked at Leah in embarrassment.

Leah smiled and turned around to leave when she said one last thing, "I guess it's not easy being aguy. I thought women had to suffer through menstruation cycles, but it turns out men have their ownset of problems too. Haha, what a wonderful world."

Ernest looked at her retreating back and sighed, thinking about how she could really get people'sheart racing.

Fortunately, Leah stopped asking any further questions, otherwise, his embarrassment would haveincreases tenfold.

When Leah returned to her room, she covered his face with her palms and gave her own face alight pat. She heaved out a sigh of relief. What an overwhelming situation! She asked so manytactless questions just now. She never thought she would see that side of Ernest.

After knowing Ernest's secrets, she felt like the connection between them grew closer.

Leah felt like there was an ambiguous feeling between her and Ernest that felt just right. If it went alittle overboard, things might have gotten slippery, but had it fall short, they wouldn't have been asflirty as they were.

She thought of how Ernest reacted just now and felt like he might have been irritated.

Leah had asked those questions shamelessly, and she hoped she didn't create an overly annoyingimpression of herself in Ernest's eyes.

Leah's heart was a chorus of murmurs, she felt worried about what she might lose. Maybe this waswhat it felt like when someone gets too infatuated with the person they like.

The boy she liked slept beside her, had a specific type of dream, and woke up with a small physicalhassle. Leah thought about how he never even pounced onto her and couldn't help but start todoubt her own charm.

Forget it! Just forget it!

She didn't want to doubt her own charm, because Ernest was a guy who understands the weight ofresponsibility. He wouldn't start a relationship without giving it some deep thought, not to mention heknew how to keep himself in check. Having him sleep beside her was already uncommon enough. Ifshe imposed too much, it would be quite uncouth.

Leah took deep breaths as she reassured herself.

Leah had just finished organizing her feelings when her bedroom door opened.

Ernest stood by the door with a pot in his hand and took a deep look at Leah.

Leah's face flushed again. She quickly said, "You're done washing!"

Ernest nodded. "Cycling back to what you said, do you have any objections to me hanging myclothes on your balcony?"

"What are you talking about? Did I complain about it?" Leah hurriedly shook his head and quicklyhelped Ernest find a hanger. "Your clothes need to be hung on the balcony. If you don't, are yougoing to cover yourself with your own hands? That's too unreasonable even for me!"

Leah had nothing to say, but she wanted to break the awkwardness. In fact, her face turned red themoment the door was opened. Especially when she looked at Ernest's lean and big figure by thedoor. His handsome and stellar looks were really out of this world.

Maybe it was her lustful thinking. Her cold had been mostly alleviated, and all she could think aboutwas about his charms. She was greedy for Ernest's body.

He was such a well- mannered guy who was serious about his responsibilities. Who wouldn't bebewitched by him?

Leah longed for Ernest and his charisma.

Ernest, of course, didn't know what went on in Leah's head. He took the clothes from Leah's hand, and then saw Leah looking at him with a strong gaze. He frowned and asked, "Leah, what are yourolling your eyes and thinking about?"

"Ah?" Leah hurriedly shook her head and chuckled. "I can't tell you what I'm thinking of right now.Maybe one day I won't be able to resist telling you, but today is not the day."

"Maybe one day?" Ernest frowned and looked at her spirited face, puzzled.

Leah took another deep look at Ernest and did not reply. If there ever would be a day, it wouldundoubtedly be the day when she gets married to him.

If they were to flourish in being a couple that was a match made in heaven, she might as well tellhim that she was drawn into his charms on this very day.

But the present was not the right moment. She couldn't tell Ernest now.

"I said at the very least it's not right now," Leah smiled and said. "There's no point asking about it."

Ernest had no choice but to cease his questioning.

He dried his washed clothes on the balcony and turned around and glanced at Leah. "Are youhungry? Do you want to eat anything?"

Leah returned his glance and thought about it. She said, "I want to eat you, but you won't let me."She scanned him up and down and declared, "Anything is fine! Just do your thing, I'm not picky."

Ernest went out of the bathroom and proceeded to the kitchen.

Leah ran to the kitchen entrance to look at Ernest and said, "Ernest, does this often happen?"

Ernest originally thought that this matter had long passed, but unfortunately for him, it was far fromit.

Leah seemed like she came out just to talk about it again. She wouldn't let go of the topic unlessshe dug deep into the core of his embarrassing matter.

"What do you mean by "happens often"? What are you referring to?" Ernest glanced at Leah, eyessharp and feigning ignorance. He had hoped Leah would stop mentioning his little laundry incident.
