Chapter 1572

"Sebastian, are you coming or not?" Sylvia wanted her ever serious brother to join her in doingsome mischief.

Sebastian was always so prim and proper, and it was so boring.

Sylvia was bored to death after Ernest and Gary went abroad. Now that they had finally come homewith a girl in tow, she wanted to have some fun.

However, Sebastian was so annoying. He was a party pooper, and he was always so serious withher.

"Nope. I'm not going, and you're not either," Sebastian replied in a soft voice.

"Sebastian Jones, you're so boring." Sylvia stamped her feet in anger and she went back to herroom.

Sebastian was shocked as he stared in the direction Sylvia had walked away in. He frowned andlooked at Celeste's door before he left as well.

As soon as he left, Sylvia poked her head out of

the door.

She tiptoed over to Celeste's door and put her ear to it.

At that moment, Sebastian returned.

He stood in the corridor and watched his little sister sneaking around. Frustration flashed across hishandsome features.

It seemed impossible for Sylvia not to be so nosy. Furthermore, he had no idea if Gary and Celesteknew that Sylvia was eavesdropping on them!

He hoped that they would discover Sylvia quicker.

Sebastian had wanted to leave Sylvia alone, but he couldn't after he spotted Sylvia attaching alistening device to the door. Sebastian frowned and stalked towards Sylvia.

Then, Sebastian reached out and grabbed Sylvia's shoulder.

"Who the heck?" Sylvia exclaimed before she realized that she was still standing in front ofCeleste's door. She lowered her volume and expertly slipped the listening device into her sleeve. Then, she turned around to see Sebastian.

Ugh, it was her brother again.

Sylvia frowned, but she wasn't embarrassed in the slightest after being caught. "What the hell,Sebastian? I'm not spying on you, so why did you grab my collar?"

Furthermore, Sebastian still hadn't let her go. It was a very uncomfortable position to be in.

At first, Sebastian had wanted to be merciful to his sister. However, he decided to knock on Gary'sdoor when he heard his sister say that.

"Sebastian! What are you doing?" Sylvia went to stop Sebastian's hand.

At that moment, the door opened to reveal Gary standing there. His tall frame and cold eyes stifledboth Sylvia and Sebastian.novelbin

"Sebastian? Sylvia?" Gary frowned before he thought of Sylvia's habit of eavesdropping. Heimmediately became unhappy, but why was Sebastian here as well?

He took a look at Sebastian's expression and understood.

Gary glanced at Sylvia and smirked. Then, he sneered and said, "You're having fun, huh, Sylvia?"

Sylvia quietly muttered, "Oh sh*t."

Sebastian was also spooked by his brother's expression and he let go of Sylvia. "Gary, I'll be off."

"Okay, go ahead Sebastian." Gary nodded.

"I'll be going as well, Gary." Sylvia tried to escape her brother's wrath.

However, Gary grabbed her by the collar.

Sylvia groaned. She was not afforded any respect at all by her family. If Sebastian didn't grab her bythe collar, then Gary would. If word got out, then her status as the youngest daughter of the Jonesfamily was as good as gone.

"Come on, Gary!"

"Sylvia, you're not thinking of running after eavesdropping on me, are you?" Gary sneered.

"No! I didn't eavesdrop on you!" Sylvia screamed. Her eyes were wide as they darted around. "Helpme, Celeste! Gary is trying to kill me!"

Celeste was befuddled and she ran outside as soon as Sylvia screamed. Then, she spotted Garypulling on Sylvia's collar and said, "Gary, what are you doing? Let go of Sylvia."

"Celeste, you must save me! I'm your only sister-in-law, and you won't have another if Gary killsme," Sylvia spoke in a pitiful tone. "You wouldn't be able to do it right? I'm so cute."

"Gary, let go of Sylvia first. What are you doing?" Celeste was frightened, and she quickly stoppedGary.

"Yeah, let me go!" Sylvia used Celeste as a shield and said, "Celeste, Gary is a cruel man."

"Cut it out." Gary did not let go of Sylvia. "You're very bold, Sylvia. I'm warning you, you can playtricks on everyone except for Celeste and me."

"Gary, why would I do that? You're so mean, and you're literally disrespecting a woman right in frontof Celeste," Sylvia grumbled. "Did you hear that, Celeste? Gary is sexist. He doesn't respect womenat all."

"Sylvia Jones, do you still plan on provoking me?" Gary replied.

"I'm not provoking you, you just won't let go of me. If you just let me go, I'd have gone back to myroom ages ago," Sylvia remarked.

Despite Celeste's protests, Gary dragged Sylvia to her room and shoved her inside roughly beforereturning.

Celeste frowned when she saw Gary treating his sister like this.

"What's wrong with you? Can't you be kinder to your sister?"

Gary was speechless at Celeste's disdainful tone. He sighed when he thought of Sylvia's slyexpression and Celeste's innocent face.

He was a little frustrated, but he tried to comfort Celeste. "You're still speaking up for Sylvia, huh?You have no idea what she was doing earlier."

Celeste paused for a moment before she said, "What was she up to? Either way, she's still a kid.Why be so petty?"

"Celeste, that stinking sister of mine was eavesdropping on us. Do you get what I'm saying?" Garyended up telling Celeste the whole story.

Celeste was shocked.

"What?"

"Do you know why I'm mad now? Gosh, you're still so naive." Gary shot a frustrated look at Celeste.

He brought Celeste back into the room and shut the door. Then, he sighed as he gazed at her."You've been fooled by Sylvia's innocent appearance. She was eavesdropping, and she knowseverything that goes on in this house. Sebastian was here earlier, and that boy is a good kid. Hewas probably annoyed with Sylvia's constant eavesdropping, so he decided to warn us."
