Ernest opened the passenger side door and got in the car, sitting with Liam in the front.

Meanwhile, Maria sat in the back of the car behind Ernest. In that position, she could see Liam'sside profile and his expression.

Instead of bringing a driver with him, Liam was driving on his own.

Maria didn't know if it was because Liam's driver had been taken away by the company or becausehe had no work and nothing to do now, hence explaining the lack of the need for a driver.

While Ernest was chatting with Liam in front, Maria sat quietly behind them. It was rare for her tokeep quiet and not say anything.

"Why did you two come back this time? Didn't Celeste come back with you?"

"No," Ernest explained, "She has something to do with my brother, so she didn't come back."

"He's been in England all this while," Ernest added.

Liam nodded and changed the topic, "Celeste hasn't come back for four years."
