Chapter 1371

Celeste didn't dare to look into Gary's eyes. The emotions contained in his gaze were too intense.

His gaze was like a black hole, threatening to suck her in once she turned to look at him.

His love for her was extremely obvious.

At that very moment, she felt warmth in the depths of her soul.

However, they were in the bathroom. She felt that she couldn't fully let herself go.

Yet, Gary seemed to have made up his mind. He always gave her some unexpected feelings andexperiences.

"That's a good girl."

Gary's lips curled up into a smile when he saw Celeste stop talking and looking at him obediently. Her eyes were twinkling.

"Don't mess around," she murmured as a reminder.

"Ok. I won't act recklessly," Gary smirked and looked at her solemnly, "I will only be serious."

Wasn't that the same thing?

Celeste wanted to say something, but in the end, she said nothing.

After all, she knew that she was no match for him.

The water from the shower fell on the two, bringing about a comfortable feeling.

The two of them stood under the shower as their sight grew blurry from the heat and the water.

Their bodies undulated to a rhythm that they were familiar with. Their shadows swayed andoverlapped with each other, creating a mesmerizing dance under the waters.

A long time passed before Gary finally brought Celeste out.

Finally, they had washed up.

Celeste had long lost her strength. She laid on the bed limply, panting since she had no energy left. All she could do was whine.

"Gary, it's already past eight. I haven't gone downstairs to have breakfast yet. They'll laugh at me."

"I didn't go downstairs either, did I?" Gary sat on the edge of the bed and dried his hair. He didn'tfeel that he had gone overboard at all.

In fact, he looked quite healthy and bright.

Celeste was greatly unconvinced. Why was it that every time after they did it she would feel tired, but he would be in high spirits?

It was really unfair.

"It's awkward because both of us haven't gone downstairs," She pouted, "Go downstairs. Youmust."

What she meant was that it would look better if he went downstairs.

"The more you try to hide something, the more obvious it gets," Gary smirked.

Celeste paused for a moment as her face reddened.

She knew that it was obvious what had happened.

The more she wanted to pretend that nothing had happened, the harder it was to do so.

Maria was already aware of what happened between her and Gary.

It was unclear if Ernest knew as well. Though, with his intelligence, he would definitely find outquickly.

Celeste just felt too embarrassed. She thought that everything had happened too fast.

"You don't have to go downstairs. When you have the strength, well go downstairs together."

Gary glanced at her. When he looked at Celeste's tender face, his heart softened. Her appearancenow was simply too beautiful.

As soon as he looked at her, he couldn't help but feel the air around him heating up.

Gary wanted to be with her all the while. They were alone in the room, so they wouldn't be disturbedby anyone. He wished for time to stop so they'd forever be together.

Celeste buried herself under the covers. Her hair was still wrapped in a towel and was half dry. Shereally did not have any energy left.

At the same time, she was hungry.

As a result of doing it the whole night, she was famished, with zero strength to do anything else.

She thought that if she went down to eat something, at least she would be able to act as if nothinghad happened.

However, Gary dragged her to take a bath with him. Whatever happened between them wasindescribable.

Gary put on his clothes and opened her drawer, soon finding a pink hairdryer inside. He thenplugged it in and helped her dry her hair.

Celeste didn't want to move, neither was she willing to.

The hot wind from the hairdryer blew as his bony fingers shuttled back and forth between her hair.Soon, she got tired and nodded off.

By the time her hair was dried, Celeste actually fell asleep.

A hint of sheer happiness flashed through Gary's eyes as he chuckled, watching the girl in his armsfall into a sweet and deep sleep.

It seemed like she was exhausted.

He covered Celeste with the quilt before he cleaned up the room and threw out the garbage. Then,he washed his hands and went out.

As soon as he opened the door, he saw Maria walking upstairs. She just arrived at the top of thestairs to the second floor and was about to head down the corridor.

She seemed to have just finished breakfast.

As their glances met, Maria immediately smirked.

"Good morning, Gary," She greeted him.

Since Gary had left Celeste's room casually, he wasn't embarrassed to be caught in the act.

Naturally, Maria wouldn't hold back. It wasn't easy to find an opportunity to tease Gary. How couldshe not take up such a valuable chance to do so?

"It's already quite late," Gary said as he glanced at Maria's deepening smile, "It's already past eight. Why are you greeting me now?" "Of course it isn't. We've all had breakfast except for you andCeleste."novelbin

Maria walked over and stood in front of Gary. She sized him up from head to toe with an ambiguouslook in her eyes.

Gary frowned. Seeing the smile on Maria's face, it was as if she wanted to laugh at him.

Since that was the case, he'd make sure that she couldn't laugh.

"Great. Why are you showing off to me?" Gary said lightly with a hint of warning in his tone, "Don'ttell me that Celeste and I don't have that little bit of freedom to do whatever we like?"

Maria's eyes widened. Before she could reply, Gary continued, "Looks like you guys have beenbullying Celeste for the past few years."

"Of course not," Maria quickly denied.

Gary looked at Maria and found that she was indeed anxious to clarify. He said calmly, "I'm alreadystanding here, but you're nagging me for eating a late breakfast. If it was Celeste, I'm sure that youwould go even more overboard, wouldn't you?"

Maria instantly understood that Gary had done it on purpose. Was he trying to cover up hisembarrassment?

Emotions flashed through her eyes as she looked at Gary with a faint smile.

"Gary, who is bullying Celeste? It seems like neither of us has bullied Celeste. You're the one whohas been bullying her all this while, right?"

It was uncomfortable being stared at like that by Maria. Instantly, Gary's gaze grew sharp.

The word bullying itself could be used in different contexts.

"Can you guys compare yourselves to me?" Gary ignored Maria's probing gaze and refuted calmly,"Celeste likes it when I'm like that."

"Tsk!" Maria took a deep breath and clicked her teeth, "Gary, how more shameless can you get?"

"You're no better," Gary looked down at her, "You're shameless as well since you're prying into ourprivate matters. What's wrong with me chasing after love?"

"Haha!" Maria cackled, "Gary, you finally admit that you're pursuing Celeste?"

"Why can't I admit it? Celeste is mine," Gary admitted frankly, "Be more polite to your future cousin-in-law."
