Chapter 1317

"You guys had such a huge fight this time. She is a child, so she's still impulsive. Just don't be sostubborn and give her some space and time to admit her mistakes. I believe things will be muchbetter," Katherine said frankly.

"I'm not the person who gave birth to her," Cindy complained, "She's not my own kin. For me toraise her for so long, does she even know how much I spent on her?"

"Then why did you raise her in the first place?" Katherine asked.

Cindy was instantly rendered speechless.

A flash of panic flitted across Cindy's eyes. She lowered her gaze and picked up the cigarette onthe table. After lighting it up, she took a long puff.

"Cindy, I've been with you for so many years. I don't often stick my nose into your private affairs, butyou've been raising her for so many years. You should continue raising her since it'll benefit you inthe future."

"This d*mned brat hasn't contacted us yet. She wants to cut off all ties with me but I'm still herrightful guardian. Let's see what she can do next," Cindy took another puff. She tightened her fists, her fingernails sinking into her palm.

"Beep beep."

Suddenly, the phone rang.

She had received an email.

Cindy tapped on it and opened her email inbox. The photo attached in the email was too large.

She needed to zoom out to see what it was.

Hence, Cindy bit on the cigarette and quickly tapped on the screen to zoom out. Soon, she saw theentire picture clearly.

Her face suddenly turned pale.

With her mobile phone in her hands, she stood up from the sofa in a panic.

"Cindy, what's wrong?" Katherine asked with concern, "You don't look too good. Who emailed you?"

"It's nothing. I'll go back to my room first," Cindy said in a trembling voice. Her tone sounded prettyurgent, "Don't bother me. I promise I'll be fine."

After that, she strode back into her room.

The door slammed shut behind her.

Katherine was very puzzled. She had a feeling that at that very moment, Cindy's steps seemed likethey were trembling.

Katherine was not certain what had happened, but she knew Cindy very well. To suddenly havesuch a large change in expression was indeed strange. Should she contact her manager>

Cindy entered the room and locked the door behind her. After clicking on the email once more, shefound that it was indeed a photo of her nudes.

Why did this photo still exist?

Wasn't this photo already bought and confiscated by the public relations team?

Wasn't it already destroyed?

Cindy looked at it carefully and saw that it was sent anonymously. It was then that she realized thatthis was another attempt to blackmail her.

It was just a photo, with no other words or content written in the email.

It didn't seem right at all.

Cindy was so frightened that her hands and feet were shivering. She was constantly wondering:was this photo sent by the press, or not?

She paced back and forth in the room, at a loss for what to do.

About half an hour later, a series of notifications rang out again. Cindy opened it in a panic and sawa passage written in the email.

The content read, "Cindy White, you'd better don't do anything dumb. Stop trying to take things thataren't yours. If you do, trust that not only will this photo be exposed, your fun time with the directorwill also be exposed. I believe that this will mean the end of your career, and you'll be known as ab*tch by the public."

After reading the threat, Cindy was completely stupefied.

She was shaken to her very core.

She wanted to reply to it, but she didn't know who to send it to.

With that, Cindy lost sleep for the entire night. She looked extremely weary.

The next day, Katherine noticed Cindy's haggard face. The thick makeup could not conceal herfatigue.

Cindy seemed to be in a very bad state. It was as if she had suddenly aged a few years.

"What's wrong with you?" Katherine asked out of concern, "Would you like me to tell yourmanager?"

"It's nothing. Don't say anything," Cindy did not say anything else and stopped Katherine fromreporting things to her manager. She then plopped herself down on the sofa and asked, "Have youcontacted that brat?"

Katherine hurriedly replied, "Oh, I've gotten in touch with her. She asked me to convey a messageto you. She said that she wishes for you to give up being her guardian. When she grows up, she willrepay you when she is able to do so. Until then, she hopes that you can forfeit being her guardian."

"What?" Cindy's eyes widened in disbelief as she muttered, "Are you kidding? Forfeit? Is she goingto search for another household?"

"Cindy, what do you think? How could Celeste be so bold?" Katherine analyzed the situation withher and speculated, "Could it be that she has already found a home to take her in and foundsomeone to back her up?"

"No," Cindy denied directly. "Her life is too simple. She doesn't have many friends. At most, she isfriends with Heinz's son and Zachary's daughter."

"Celeste only has a few friends. Recently, she just got to know Liam. However, it is impossible forLiam to be her guardian without discussing this with me."

"What about the Jones Family?" In Katherine's opinion, the Jones family was a very capable familyand was sufficient to support her.

Cindy was taken aback, and there was a trace of suspicion in her eyes. At the thought of Heinz'swords, she suddenly stood up and rushed out.

"Cindy, where are you going?" Katherine was shocked.

"I'm going to look for Heinz," Cindy walked out without looking back.

Katherine wanted to stop her, but she couldn't do so in time.

Cindy ran directly to the Jones family's villa and knocked on the door forcefully.

When the butler came out and saw Cindy, he was very puzzled and asked, "Who are you lookingfor?"

"I'm looking for Heinz," Cindy was stern, "Heinz Jones, get the hell out here."

In Cindy's opinion, someone who was capable of obtaining her nudes as well as the video of hersleeping with the director would be someone who was influential. Moreover, the person had to beable to send an anonymous email without being tracked down. Apart from Heinz, no one else couldfit the criteria.novelbin

Therefore, she had a feeling that Heinz was the person who sent her the email.

Cindy couldn't help but feel extremely ashamed and exasperated when she thought of how Heinzcould've seen her obscene videos.

Her hard work for all these years seemed like a joke.

Wouldn't Heinz secretly think that she was an embarrassment? She would be even more ashamedin the future.

"Cindy," Katherine rushed over and grabbed Cindy by the arm. She dragged Cindy back whilstpleading, "Cindy, listen to me. Let's go back."

"What on earth do you want to do?" The butler was surprised to see Cindy here.

To have some crazy woman knock on the door noisily just to meet the master of the house early inthe morning was peculiar.

"I'm really sorry," Katherine smiled apologetically at the butler, "We'll leave now."

"Why do we have to leave?" Cindy's impulsive acts were fueled by the shame and anger in herheart. She shoved the butler aside and broke in.

"Stop!" The butler shouted angrily, "What on earth do you want to do?"

"Heinz Jones," Cindy shouted loudly, which startled everyone in the building.

"Heinz Jones, you're such a loser. You're so disgusting. What the hell are you scheming against mebehind my back?"

Heinz just happened to go downstairs with Grace.

When he got downstairs, he heard the commotion outside. After listening carefully, he found that itwas Cindy's voice. He suddenly frowned.

Just then, Hermione, Yvonne and Nerissa arrived downstairs as well.

"What's going on outside?" Hermione frowned and asked, "Why is it so noisy? Who is it that'scursing Heinz?"

"It's Cindy White," Heinz also cooled down, "Who knows what's going on in the head of that crazywoman."

Meanwhile, both Ernest and Maria were standing on the stairs.

As soon as she heard Cindy's name, Maria quickly said to Ernest, "I'm going to accompany Celeste. You stay here."

"Hurry. Don't let Celeste come down," Ernest instructed.

"Okay," Maria hurried upstairs.

Ernest walked downstairs slowly.

Meanwhile, Cindy had already broken into the living room.

She was initially filled with rage. When she entered the living room, she saw so many people staringat her. All of them looked healthy and had a good night's sleep.

She thought of how sleep-deprived she was, and how they were so well-rested in contrast.

Cindy had no time to care about that. She stared at Heinz with a shrill look and accused him,"Heinz, you are a business tycoon. How could you trick me like that? What do you get in return fordestroying my career? I've been working so hard all these years. Even if I have blundered, it's myprivacy. What does it have to do with you? Why do you have to blackmail me like this?"

Heinz was completely puzzled and asked, "Blackmail you? When did I blackmail you?"

"You're still pretending?" Cindy was even angrier and shouted, "I can't believe you're trying to denyit after pulling it off! Can you even call yourself a man?"
