Chapter 1311

"What?" Grace was a little puzzled and even slightly angry, "Heinz, you already went wild last night!"

She didn't want to spend most of her day in bed.

Heinz glanced at his wife and said, "I just wanted to kiss you. What were you thinking?"

Grace blinked and her entire face turned red.

"You said it on purpose."

Heinz chuckled, "Yes, I said it on purpose. I didn't expect you to have the desire for that."

Grace immediately refuted, "Who on earth would want that? I didn't think about that at all. You're theone who did it on purpose. You just want to see me make a fool of myself."

"Of course not," Heinz shook his head and was serious, "I have thought about it meticulously.Honey, you're in your thirties. There's a saying here that women in their thirties will only have theirdesire grow, and it'll peak in their forties. I understand that you're at this age and may need a bitmore of my care."

Grace was so stunned that she felt she wanted to dig a hole and bury herself in it.

She glared at Heinz, her reddened cheeks making her look like a cute strawberry.

Heinz deliberately teased her with a smile, "I'm just saying that if you want to do it, just tell me. Youdon't have to be shy about it. I'm afraid you might suffer from holding back all the desire. If you'reshy to say it out loud, you can just give me a hint and I will understand."

"Heinz Jones" Grace couldn't help growling.

Heinz wrapped his arms around his exasperated wife. Looking at how she was blushing, he waseven more intrigued. He held her tightly and said, "Honey, that roar of yours is obvious showing thatyou aren't satisfied. Why don't I satisfy you?"

Grace was at a loss for words.

It was the same as before.

He was still planting the blame on her.

Grace sighed, "You're the one who's horny, but you're putting the blame on me. You're so mean."

"Well, you know what they say. Mean guys get the chicks," Heinz announced righteously, "That isexactly why, my dear wife, you'll love me more if I'm being naughty, right?"

"I love you even if you're a goody two shoes," It was rare for Grace to be so serious. "Marrying youis the best thing that has ever happened to me."

Upon hearing this, Heinz paused momentarily. He was very pleasantly surprised from the bottom ofhis heart.

He was so excited that he hugged her tightly. Grace took in a sharp breath from the immense force.

"Let me go. Your hug is too tight. I can't breathe."

Heinz slightly loosened his grip, but he didn't let go completely.

His gaze was filled with a ton of emotions as he answered, "To repay you for loving me so much, Iwill reward you big time."

"What?" Grace shook her head, "What reward?"

"Of course, I'm the reward," Heinz was serious, "In my opinion, there's no better reward thandevoting my entire life to you."

Grace was dumbfounded again. With a blush on her face, she shouted coquettishly, "Stop flirtingwith me. I'll go and take a look at Celeste."

Heinz frowned, "Why do you have to go check on her? She's in great hands. We are going to helpher pursue her education. Why are you so anxious?"

Seeing how dissatisfied Heinz was, Grace swatted his hand away from her.

"Don't make a fuss. Celeste is still a kid. She might not have such a strong mentality yet."

"When you gave birth to Gary and Ernest, you were not much older than her," Heinz reasoned.

Grace stared at Heinz and tried to explain, "That's why I wouldn't want young girls like her toexperience my pain from back then."

Heinz was stupefied.

Grace had already strode out. It seemed like she went to comfort Celeste.

"Hey, do you think it's nice for you to leave your husband alone like this? I'm already on the verge ofexploding, but you just left me like that? Honey, where is your conscience?" Heinz almost threwhimself at his wife in an attempt to get her to stay.

"Stop yelling," Grace turned around and glared at him.

Heinz was very upset and didn't feel like saying anything for a long time.

Grace had really gone out.

He lowered his head to look at himself and let out a deep sigh. There was nothing he could do.

After all, who told him to be so crazily in love with his wife?

Meanwhile, Grace knocked on Celeste's door. Some time later, Celeste's voice was heard frominside saying, "Please come in."

After opening the door, Grace found that Celeste had already stood up and walked to the doorpersonally to greet her.

"Aunt Smith."

It seemed that she had already calmed down.

This child was really able to control her mood very well. For her to be able to adjust her mood insuch a short time without making a fuss and yet look so natural was pretty impressive.

"Hello Celeste," Grace shut the door and walked inside.

"Please take a seat," Celeste quickly asked Grace to take a seat.

After sitting down, Grace looked at Celeste and said, "Have a seat too. Let's have a chat."

"Sure," Celeste nodded, "Please go ahead, Aunt Smith. Actually, I heard what my aunt said just nowwhen you were just talking outside. You don't have to worry about me. I'm totally fine."

Grace paused and sighed. This child was too smart. She was still thinking of how she was going tobreak the news, but Celeste had already figured everything out on her own.

Grace's heart skipped a beat.

Grace was still worried her words might hurt, but this child took the initiative to speak first.

She didn't want to beat around the bush either, so she said directly, "Since you have heardeverything, then what do you have in mind?"

Celeste shook her head, and her gaze grew dim. She lowered her head and uttered in a low voice,"Aunt Smith, I'll listen to you."

Grace was stunned once again. This child had a sense of propriety. At this very moment, Celestewas hinting that she had no choice to go but to rely on her.

Fortunately, she did not say anything else that would tarnish her self-esteem.

Grace was very satisfied, "Uncle Jones and I have decided to snatch your guardianship from youraunt."

Celeste was puzzled and felt a little surprised.

In fact, she was very nervous and was at a loss for what to do.

Now that she heard Grace's words, she was even more surprised.novelbin

She was a little worried, "Judging from my aunt's personality, she won't be willing to give in soeasily."

Even if Cindy didn't actually look for her, giving up ownership over Celeste was something Cindywas

unlikely to do.

"I know," Grace nodded solemnly, "To be exact, we're going to snatch it from her."

Celeste stared at Grace in silence. Who would have expected Grace, who had such a warm andgentle smile, to have such a domineering side?

This came as a surprise to Celeste.

A sparkle returned to her eyes. She blinked, this time much more energetically.

Compared to how gloomy her gaze was a moment ago, it looked much more dazzling.

"Do you agree with this idea?" Although Grace saw the glimmer in her gaze, she was still worriedthat she might have some opinions of her own.

Celeste nodded immediately, "I have no problem with this."

"Great," Grace was also very satisfied, "That's settled then. Initially, we planned to stay here for aweek before heading to the United States, but it seems like we will have to stay here for a littlelonger."

Upon mentioning the United States, Celeste froze and she thought of Gary. Since the day they hada big fight, they had yet to contact each other.

She had already decided to be just friends with him.

Yet, reality was so cruel. She was now involved with the Jones Family and was going to be adoptedby them. She created so much trouble for his parents.

She felt ashamed.

"I'm sorry that I delayed your schedule," Celeste apologized.

"It's fine," Grace looked at Celeste and said with a smile, "Gary's a bored person to talk to in theUnited States."

Celeste was stupefied once again but she didn't say anything.

Grace could see that Celeste had something on her mind.

"Gary is smart and sensible. Back then, I brought him to live with his aunt. To help lighten ourfinancial burden, he started earning money through video games. He even earned quite a lot."

Celeste was puzzled. She looked up at Grace and uttered in a soft voice, "Gary is a very smartboy."

"He has a bad temper, doesn't he?" Grace laughed.

This time, Celeste found it awkward to explain.

"It's alright," Grace assured her, "I'm the one who gave birth to him. I know him the best. He isarrogant and hot-tempered."

Celeste didn't say a word, silently agreeing to what Grace had to say.

"I'm going to video call him now," Grace said, "Since you two are classmates, why don't you guysgreet each other?"

Celeste froze and she was at a loss for what to do.

She wanted to reject Grace's proposal, but she couldn't force herself to do so.

After all, Grace was so kind and friendly. To refuse her goodwill would be very awkward indeed.

Grace took out her phone and video called Gary.

Very soon, the call was connected. Gary's slightly tired voice could be heard saying, "Hi, mom, what's wrong?"

"Gary, you sound so exhausted. What's wrong?"

"I'm a little busy," Gary's voice still sounded tired. However, he still smiled at Grace, "Mom, I'm fine.Don't worry."

Grace grew concerned after seeing Gary's pale face. She asked. "You don't look well. What's thematter?"

Gary couldn't hold back his coughs anymore and started coughing violently.
