Chapter 1293

As soon as these words left his mouth, everyone was stunned.

Everyone turned their eyes to Heinz.

Meanwhile, Ernest was used to it. In the Jones family, his father loved his mother the most. Insecond place was their fourth child, and his sons were in last place.

He had gotten used to the fact that no one was vying for his attention.

Anyways, the sons loved their mother the most, which was understandable.

Celeste also looked at Heinz in silence.

She thought that a man admitting such a fact in public was very brave. He was still so confidenteven in front of his children. It was a rare sight.

Maria was stunned and gave him a thumbs-up almost instantly. She said to Heinz with admiration,"Uncle, I must praise you."

Heinz smiled and turned his eyes to Grace.

Grace knew that she was blushing. It was really embarrassing for Heinz to show his love for her inpublic, especially since it was in front of everyone

she knew.

Moreover, Celeste was also by her side.

Grace shot a coquettish glance at Heinz and said, "Are you crazy?"

Heinz was smiling and his gaze was fixed on her. He said, "I'm not crazy. It's the truth."

"Aunt Grace is just shy," Maria saw Grace blushing and joked, "My dear uncle and aunt, can youtwo stop confessing your love to each other in front of us?"

"What are you saying?" Heinz laughed, "I'm supporting you, ain't I? Yet you're asking me to stop?"

"No, of course not," Maria immediately shook her head, "I just have to admit that you're reallyawesome, Uncle Heinz. My father has much to learn from you."

"Your father?" Heinz said in disgust, "Your father is a quiet man. It's impossible for him to confesssuch words in public."

"Stop talking," Grace looked at Heinz, hinting at him to stop with her eyes.

Heinz immediately nodded, his eyes full of affection. "Yes, madam."

Maria watched her aunt and uncle flirting lovingly and making everyone jealous.

"Alright, let's stop talking about this. Let's eat. Everyone is tired. After we finish eating, we shouldtake a bath quickly and rest."

"Yes, it's time to rest," Hermione said, "I've been on the plane for more than ten hours. I'm so tiredthat my waist hurts."

"Aunt Hermoine, you should take a hot bath later and have a good sleep. I'm sure you'll be full ofenergy tomorrow."

"I hope you're right," Hermione glanced at Heinz and Grace and sighed, "Heinz and Grace areunable to leave each other's side. They just want to be together."

Grace and Heinz were both stunned.

Heinz raised his eyebrows and commented, "That's a good conclusion. Hermione really hit the nailon the head."

Hermione shook her head and laughed, "I've known you two for so many years. Of course I knowwhat you're thinking."

Grace was embarrassed and blushed a little.

Nerissa, Yvonne, Maria and Ernest all nodded, and they all thought that the conclusion was veryaccurate.

"Let's feast! If I say more, Grace might get upset," Hermione laughed, "Dig in."

Everyone continued to eat.

The atmosphere was harmonious. They all ate and laughed together. Everyone seemed to berelaxed.

During supper, Celeste rarely spoke.

She ate with everyone and felt their warm laughter. She felt really envious.

She looked at them quietly. Heinz was tall and strong. His handsome features were distinct andmanly.

Perhaps because he was on vacation, he did not wear a suit but instead wore casual clothes.Nevertheless, she could still feel his strong aura.

His gaze was sharp and deep. When he looked into one's eyes, one could not help but feelshocked.

... Or maybe it was because of her guilty conscience.

Every time Celeste met Heinz's gaze, she would feel a chill in her heart. Fear would riseinvoluntarily in her.

She chose to stay because she wanted to take this opportunity to observe the man.

She wanted to see if Heinz was really a man who would play around and abandon a woman.

However, the more she looked at him, the less confident she became.

After all, she found that Heinz's eyes were always on Grace, and he doted on her very much.

After so many years of marriage, he still cared so much about his wife. How could he be the kind ofman who would abandon a woman after playing with her?

Questions arose in her mind.

Thinking about her aunt's words, Celeste was confused again.

Cindy had brought up Heinz's name more than once. It was as if she didn't want to give up onsomething, and as though she was trying to guard a prized possession from being taken away byothers. Sometimes, she would sound like she regretted something. She would reminisce about thegood times, but she would never question the memories from back then.

Celeste lowered her gaze and made up her mind.

She could not let Cindy buy a house here.

It no longer mattered who Celeste really was.

That was because Grace and Heinz looked like a match made in heaven.

One of them was gentle, beautiful and kind, while the other was cold, determined yet oddlyhumorous. He only focused on his wife and wasn't easily distracted.

When she returned to her room, it was already two o'clock in the morning.

Celeste laid on the bed and received a phone call from her aunt.

Celeste was surprised to receive Cindy's call in the middle of the night. It made her feel a littlepuzzled. She had a bad premonition since her aunt was probably calling to ask about Heinz.

Celeste hesitated for a moment and picked up the phone before saying softly, "Aunt?"

"Have you seen Heinz?" Cindy asked directly.

Celeste's heart paced. Sure enough, Cindy was asking about Heinz.

"Aunt, why are you asking me this?" Celeste asked calmly.

She didn't like Cindy asking about this. In Celeste's opinion, even if there was something betweenCindy and Heinz, it was all in the past.

After so many years, she should learn to let go of him.

Now, it was inappropriate to disturb Heinz, who had been married for many years.

The desire to stop Cindy from being so obsessed with Heinz grew stronger especially after Celestewitnessed Heinz and Grace's love for each other

that night.

Cindy's tone was instantly unpleasant after being rebutted, "I'm asking you a question. Is it sodifficult for you to answer me? Just tell me if you've seen him or not. Why are you questioning me

back?"

Hearing her aunt's angry tone, Celeste paused for a moment. She had gotten used to her aunt'sunpleasant words

"Why do you think I'm questioning you?" Celeste's tone was not sharp, but there was a hint of furyas well.

It was only then that Cindy realized that something was amiss.

In the past, she would have scolded the child already.

But today, she didn't.

With that, Cindy tried to control her anger.

She repeated herself patiently, "I'm just asking if Heinz is there."

"This doesn't have anything to do with you," Celeste remarked lightly, "It's late. Even if you don'twant to sleep, I need to go to sleep."

She wanted to hang up the phone.

However, Cindy shouted at her, "I dare you to hang up the phone."

Celeste froze for a moment. She took a deep breath and reminded Cindy, "Aunt, it's two o'clock inthe morning now."

"I know it's two o'clock in the morning. Once you answer me, it'll be over, won't it?" Cindy had nointention of giving up until Celeste answered.

Celeste knew Cindy's temper. She would have to answer even if she didn't want to.

She gave it some thought before replying, "Mr. Heinz is here. He is very affectionate with his wife.We had supper together, and Mr. Heinz gave all his attention and love to Mrs. Grace. They are apair made in heaven, it makes people envious."

Her words were a form of inspiration and a hidden reminder.

Celeste thought that if her aunt was smart, she would stop asking.

However, Cindy only sneered, "A pair made in heaven?"

Celeste insisted, "Yes, they are a pair made in heaven. They are very affectionate as they love eachother very much. Other people won't be able to disturb them."

Hearing this, Cindy frowned and realized that Celeste was acting very weird tonight.

She actually dared to refute her and kept emphasizing that Heinz had a good relationship withGrace. Was she hinting at something?novelbin

Unless Celeste knew something.

Cindy thought about it carefully. That couldn't be, right?

While she was thinking, she heard Celeste's cold voice from the phone saying, "Aunt, can I hang upthe phone now?"

When Cindy heard her, she was furious and roared, "What kind of attitude is that?"

Celeste was stunned by Cindy's question. Now that she thought about it, she really had aparticularly bad attitude towards her aunt. She recomposed herself and said again, "Aunt, it's late. You should go to sleep."

From Cindy's point of view, this was perfunctory.

She was unable to accept Celeste's attitude and uttered coldly, "What's wrong with you today? Whyare you talking to me so impolitely?"

Celeste didn't want to quarrel with Cindy again. She just said, "Sorry, I'm sleepy and I want tosleep."

"I'll ask you again," Ignoring what Celeste said, Cindy continued, "Is Heinz in the house now?"

Celeste did not speak.

"Did he not stay in a hotel?" Cindy asked forcefully again.

If this went on, there was no way to end the call.

Celeste felt helpless. She was blunt and advised immediately, "Aunt, I don't think you should buy ahouse here."

"Why?" Cindy cried out in confusion after Celeste changed the topic.
