Chapter 1214

Yvonne couldn't bring herself to retort this man whose mind was filled with inappropriate thoughts.

He was a gifted person with an exceptional talent in sports, physical prowess and was alsoextremely eloquent. In short, he was good at everything.

He even had such an oppressive aura. Yvonne felt that if she went up against such a man, shewould just be looking fortrouble.

With that in mind, she grabbed his collar and pouted, not saying anything.

Her beautiful lips were bright red. It looked stunning and dazzling and was simply extraordinary.

Zachary glanced down at her and naturally saw her chest as they were just inches apart from eachother. From that particular angle, he was able to see the view underneath her shirt. Her milky whiteskin was dotted with reddened marks - traces of his lips that he had left on her.

Zachary was calm. He smirked.

Those marks were left behind by him.

This woman belonged to him. She was his.

"Let's go eat," Zachary suddenly took Yvonne by the hand and went to the dining area.

The butler and the servants were too kind to her.

Yvonne felt extremely flattered.

As the future madam of the Lowe family, she was embarrassed because she had slept until two inthe afternoon.

"Young Master Zachary and Madam Lowe, all the dishes have been served," The butler smiled atthem, "If there's anything else you need, just call me. There are people just outside ready to serveyou."

They knew that newlyweds would not like to be disturbed at that moment. Thus, all of them left theroom knowingly.

"You can leave now. I will call you if you are needed."

"Understood!"

With that, the butler left.

Only the couple was left in the entire dining area.

It was already two o'clock in the afternoon, but Zachary had yet to take his lunch.

Yvonne noticed that he was accompanying her to dine. Hence, she couldn't help but ask, "Didn'tyou eat just now?"

"Nope," Zachary shook his head, "I didn't accompany you to last night's dinner and today'sbreakfast. If I didn't even accompany you to lunch, would I be able to consider myself a goodhusband?"

"Just eat if you are hungry," Yvonne didn't care about such formalities. On the contrary, she wasvery worried about him, "If I can't get up early, you don't have to wait for me. You can just leavesome food for me, but don't wait for me anymore, okay?" Zachary smirked and said, "Of course wehave to dine together. It only feels like home when I dine with you."novelbin

Yvonne was at a loss for words.

It was indeed lonely and depressing to dine alone.

It only felt like home when one was dining with their family members or relatives.

However, she had not truly felt the word "home" for many years.

Until now, Maria was still reluctant to forgive her. She really hoped that she could dine with Zachary,Maria, and her mother-in-law together in the near future.

That was the only way she could truly feel as if

she were at home.

"Zachary," Yvonne called out softly, "After we get married, can we move in with your mother? She isliving alone, so I'm sure she's very lonely. Since I never really had a mother since I was young, I'dlike to treat her as my own mother."

Zachary was dumbfounded. He raised his eyes to stare at Yvonne. Some time later, he let out asmile and said, "You're identical to my mother. Did you know what she said last night?"

"What?" Yvonne was very surprised. Could it be that she was talking about her?

"My mother said that she will take you as her daughter. She assured me to not worry about therelationship between the two of you. She knows what she is doing," Zachary glanced at Yvonne andshot her a grin.

"What?" Yvonne was really puzzled. She didn't expect her mother-in-law to be such a kind andopen-minded person.

"I'm really touched by what she has said. Let's just move in with them. After all, our house is huge,so we won't disturb each other too much either." Zachary said. A slight unwillingness could be heard

in his tone when he said, "Though..."

"Though what?" Yvonne noticed that he had trailed off. She immediately insisted on him finishing his

sentence.

"It's just that we haven't had enough time together. I'm worried that if we move in with her now, you'llfeel lonely," There was a hint of affection in Zachary's eyes.

Yvonne's face immediately turned a bright shade of red. This person was starting to flirt with heragain.

"Stop joking around. I already feel so guilty just leaving my mother-in-law and Maria in the house."

"They will understand us. I'm sure that they will be happy for us."

"No, they won't," Yvonne shot him another glance. She obviously knew that he was just trying tocomfort her.

"Yes, they will," A smile appeared on Zachary's lips, and he stared at Yvonne thoughtfully, "Youdon't have to worry so much. I'm sure that they will understand the two of us. Besides, I have beenso very lonely for the past years. My mother understands this the best. She was so worried that Iwas homosexual, but fortunately Maria's existence as my daughter proved her wrong. When youappeared again, my mother chased me out of the house and asked me to strengthen ourrelationship."

Yvonne found it more and more difficult to say anything.

Unexpectedly, Zachary's mother was such an open-minded woman. She was truly surprised by this.

However, she still felt that no mother would actually chase their children out of the house. Thereason she did this was because she wanted Zachary to pursue his happiness.

"We won't go back for the time being," Zachary tried to convince Yvonne, "My mother asked us tostay in Southland for a few more days, and that is also exactly what I had in mind."

"But, what about the company? You have so many things to deal with. Won't it be bad if we justenjoy ourselves like this?" Yvonne couldn't help but worry about the company.

"Enjoy?" Zachary raised his eyebrows as he chuckled, "Such a wonderful choice of words. It seemslike my wife is having quite some fun."

Once again, Yvonne felt that she was being provoked again.

He seemed to be more and more comfortable saying such things out loud most of the time. It wasgetting to the point that she was having a hard time coping.

Yvonne blushed and replied, "You're the one who's having fun."

"Of course I'm having fun," Zachary had a smile on his face. He picked up the cutleries andscooped some food for Yvonne. He smirked, "Last night was especially steamy. Such a wonderfulnight."

"Zachary Lowe!" Yvonne's lips twitched. She was speechless.

Zachary suddenly said, "Come here."

Yvonne was stupefied. She saw that he was patting his leg.

In fact, she was puzzled.

"Come and sit on my lap," Zachary ordered further.

Yvonne instantly understood what he meant and refused his offer, "No, we are having lunch."

It was too embarrassing for her to sit on his lap just to eat a meal.

She was not a child.

Zachary's gaze was unwavering as he said once more, this time with a hint of force, "Come here."

Yvonne pursed her lips. Facing Zachary's deep gaze, she hesitated for a moment before walkingover.

Zachary grabbed her and she sat on his lap.

Just like that, Yvonne's entire body went stiff.

Zachary had one hand wrapped around her waist, while his other hand was feeding Yvonne.

Yvonne was truly shocked. She was being spoonfed like a giant baby.

Yet, she just couldn't resist his charm.

She heard him whisper in her ear in a trance, "I've been dreaming about this for years."
