Chapter 1179

Isabelle was taken aback. She probably hadn't expected Yvonne to have such a sharp rebuke. Shelooked cold, but her words were calm and forceful.

Isabelle stared blankly at Yvonne for a split second as she pursed her lips and said, "Of course youdon't need to tell me. You are the president's wife. Naturally, you don't need to say a thing. I darenot comment on you either."

She still spoke with a hint of sarcasm.

Yvonne gave her an indifferent look before walking out.

Isabelle shouted again, "Miss Attwood, I don't understand. Since you are the president's wife, whywon't you admit it? What's the point in fooling us for so long?"

"You think I'm fooling with you all?" Yvonne stopped in her tracks and met her gaze. "From the verybeginning, you and Miss Harrison have been so full of yourselves, believing in whatever you think isright. Even if I told you, you won't believe me. So why would I bother explaining? Besides, I don'thave any obligation to do so."

"That's true." Isabelle smiled gently. "I just felt astounded, so I asked a couple of questions."

She didn't just ask a couple of questions.

Yvonne understood clearly that the problem wasn't with her questions.

They had become very agitated from Zachary's revelation.

Yvonne didn't say anything else.

She just wanted to leave and didn't want to talk nonsense with Isabelle. However, as soon as shetried to leave, Isabelle walked toward her and stopped her from leaving.

"Miss Attwood, I still have a few questions to ask." Isabelle blocked Yvonne's way and glared at her.

Yvonne also looked at her and said, "If you have something to say, just say it."

Isabelle glared at her, but her eyes were filled with agitation. She said, "Do you know what I'mbrooding about?"

"I don't know." Yvonne said directly, "Nor do I want to know."

"You!" Isabelle gritted her teeth and glared at her. "Do you think you are so great just because youare President Lowe's wife?" "No, I don't think I'm great, and I don't think I'm Zachary's wife either,"Yvonne said calmly as if she didn't care much about this matter.

The more calmed Yvonne was, the more agitated Isabelle became. She pointed at Yvonne and saidangrily, "How could the president like a woman like you?"

Yvonne didn't say anything.

How could outsiders be aware of the whole truth?

This matter had nothing to do with others in the first place, but they still decided to put everythingconclusively in their own hands.

Isabelle instantly trembled in fear.

She lost her imposing manner from blocking Yvonne in an instant.

Yvonne was also shocked. She stared blankly at Zachary, who was standing at the door. He lookedfurious.

Zachary's eyes were bloodshot and were filled with burning flames of rage.

His anger caused Yvonne to feel a little scared.

He grabbed Yvonne's hand and pulled her to his side.

Yvonne fell into his arms in a blur. She gasped for air, and only then did she raise her eyes to lookat him.

Zachary said in a deep voice, "Isabelle, pack your things and get out of here."

Isabelle was stunned.

Zachary walked out with Yvonne in his arms. When they reached his door, he announced to theoffice, "I'll announce two things."

Everyone stopped and looked at them.

Everyone heard what Zachary said at the door just now, but they didn't expect the president to beso angry and fired Isabelle immediately.

"Firstly, Yvonne Attwood is my wife, the mother of my child, and the head of Lowe Group in thefuture.

Secondly, Isabelle is fired. Aidan, you are responsible for handling the procedures. I will give youten minutes. If Isabelle is still here, you can leave with her."

"Yes!" Aidan immediately answered.

Zachary walked towards his office, holding Yvonne in his arms.

Yvonne's heart and mind were in a state of chaos.

His series of questions made Yvonne's mind go blank entirely. She was a bit shocked.

Were these his true feelings?

These were Zachary's feelings.

Zachary propped up her chin and Yvonne could see the regret, pain, hatred, and all sorts ofemotions and affection in his eyes as they were inches away from each other.

The throbbing veins on his forehead made him look extremely agitated.

"I've already given you my whole heart, why can't you believe me for once?" Zachary said in a deepvoice, "Even just this once."
