At seven in the evening, in the ballroom.

Zachary was there for business, and she was his partner, a typical female companion.

Someone came over and greeted Zachary with a smile, "President Lowe, long time no see. You'venever brought a female companion before, and yet today you've brought such a beautiful lady. It'sreally surprising."

She was surprised that he had never brought a female companion with him.

There was a surge of joy in her heart. She could not help but feel a little proud. It turned out that shewas the first female companion he had brought.

Zachary smiled slightly and returned to his polite self, "President White, long time no see. You're stilloutstanding as usual."

"This is?" President White looked at Yvonne with a smile and wanted to know about the woman whocame with Zachary. She must be special.

Zachary smiled without saying anything.

Yvonne was stunned. When she saw that President White was looking at her, she introducedherself, "Hello, I'm President Lowe's secretary. I'm new, so you've never seen me before."

"Secretary?" President White was surprised as he looked at Zachary meaningfully.

At this moment, Zachary's face had slightly sunk, but he did not say anything.

Yvonne smiled again and said, "Yes, I'm the new secretary."

President White smiled, "Zachary had never brought a secretary to a banquet in the past. So Iwondered who you are."

"Oh, my name is Yvonne Attwood." Yvonne told him her name, "Mr. White, I'll leave you two to chat.I'm going to have something to eat."

Yvonne noticed that Zachary's mood seemed to have changed. It was as if she had said somethingwrong.

When she was by Zachary's side, she felt a change in the atmosphere.

It was quite awkward, so she had better leave first.

She planned to escape.

Yvonne left before waiting for Zachary and President White to speak.

President White was stunned. As he looked at Yvonne leaving, he said to Zachary, "Zachary, thissecretary of yours is so bold. She had already left before you said anything."

"She's new so she doesn't know the rules well." Zachary said with a smile, "I'll have to teach herproperly."

He gritted his teeth as he said the word "teach".

President White smiled and seemed to have figured out the hidden meaning. Smiling, he said,"Then you should teach her well. Women can't be spoiled."

Zachary did not answer. He took a glass of wine from the waiter next to him and made a toast toPresident White.

President White smiled and looked in Yvonne's direction. She was indeed interesting.

After a quick chat with President White, Zachary quickly went to find Yvonne.

She was well aware that she couldn't say anything in such a place. She, as a secretary, hadconsciously left her boss alone. That was a very bold move.

Zachary's gaze swept through the hall, trying to find the woman's figure.

Finally, he saw Yvonne in a corner. She was indulging herself with food.

She had a good appetite.

Zachary walked towards her.

Yvonne was immersed in eating. Although she had noticed that Zachary's mood changed, she didnot think much about it. She thought that leaving discreetly was the best choice so that Zacharywould not have to introduce her awkward identity.

She was helping him out of a predicament. There was nothing she could do even if he got angry.

Therefore, Yvonne did not intend to take it to heart.

All of a sudden, Yvonne noticed that someone was staring at her. She quickly turned around andsaw Zachary striding towards her.novelbin

Yvonne almost choked on the dessert in her mouth.

"President, why are you here so soon?" Yvonne asked in a hurry, "Do you want to eat something?"

Both of them didn't have dinner. Yvonne was hungry, so she believed that Zachary must be hungryas well.

Zachary did not speak and just looked at her coldly.

Yvonne was quite surprised, "Aren't you hungry?"

Zachary still did not say a word. He stared at her with a sharp gaze.

Yvonne blinked a few times, not understanding the situation.

"Are you really not hungry? Hurry up and eat something."

"What else do you know besides eating?" Zachary finally opened his mouth. He soundeddispleased, and it was evident that he seemed somewhat angry.

Yvonne's eyes widened, and she looked at Zachary with a clear and innocent look, as if she wassaying, "So what if I only know how to eat? It doesn't have anything to do with you."

Looking at her expression, Zachary only felt that his expectations were too high. He had expectedher to have the consciousness of being his woman.

However, in reality, she did not have that confidence.

Zachary was dumbfounded. Yvonne had turned around and left.

It seemed that she didn't want to handle nor face them. She had the awareness of being his loverand didn't want to trouble him.

However, Zachary still felt a bit annoyed.

The more sensible she was, the angrier he became.

The three men reached him in a flash. They all came to find out about the woman Zachary hadbrought to the banquet.

Zachary quickly got rid of them, but when he turned around to look for Yvonne again, she wasnowhere to be found.

She could not be seen anywhere in the banquet hall.

Zachary moved around to look for Yvonne. Not long later, he found her on the balcony.

He strode toward her, only to find a man in a suit standing beside her.

The two of them were whispering to each other.

Zachary frowned, quickened his pace, and walked over.

There were only two of them on the balcony, and they seemed to know each other. The sound ofthem talking was too soft, and their distance was too close.

Zachary stood there and narrowed his eyes as he looked at them.

Finally, he couldn't hold it in anymore and coughed in a low voice.

Yvonne turned around at once. When she saw Zachary, there was a flash of guilt in her eyes. Shelooked at him embarrassingly and stammered, "Why... why are you here?" "Can't I be here?"Zachary's cold voice replied after a few seconds. Looking at her with his sharp gaze, he then turnedto the man next to her.

The man looked at him, smiled slightly, and said to Yvonne, "I'll leave first. Remember what I'vesaid."

"Oh, alright." Yvonne hurriedly nodded.
