Chapter 1087

Ever since Alice took over Sunny Group, her relationship with Jensen hadn't been as stable as before.

Heinz thought for a moment and said, "Although | don't know what's going on with Jensen, | can feel that he has changed a littlerecently. You have to give him a chance to get used to it. After all, your career is flourishing but he is still a low-ranked policeman, busy with cases every day."

Alice looked at Heinz with a bitter smile. "Heinz, you are also worried, aren't you?"Heinz raised his brows, nodded, and said, "About Grace?""Yeah."

“Of course. I'm worried to death," Heinz said. "Although the doctor said otherwise, | am still worried, but | know that | can't scaremyself. | must have confidence in Grace, and the twins."

“Even if we have to go through Grace's pregnancy in anxiousness?"

"Yes," Heinz repeated, "Even if we have to go through this in anxiousness, we have to cheer up.Only then can we truly withstand the risk."

To Alice's surprise, her brother-in-law was much stronger than she thought.

She nodded. "Heinz, | also believe that Grace and the twins will be all right."

“If we keep our hopes up, I'm sure things will turn for the better." Heinz looked at her feet and asked, "Will you be able to walknow?"

"Yeah, | should be able to," Alice said as she moved her feet. "I'm fine now."

“Let's go then. Grace should be worried about you." Heinz said, "| was planning to surprise your sister with a wedding thisweekend, who would've thought a shock would come before the surprise.”

"Heinz," Alice looked at Heinz and said, "Thank you so much.""I'm not used to your sudden politeness,” Heinz said. "You should go back to being the Alice you used to be."

Alice shook her head and apologized sincerely, "Heinz, I'm sorry for my actions in the past. | know | had gone too far. Because |was worried about Grace, | had always been rude to you."

"It's all in the past." Heinz didn't take it to heart.

"You say that, but this had always bothered me. Whenever | think about how | treated you in the past, I'd always feel bad.Especially now that you are helping me and the Sunny Group, | can't believe how immature | was."

"Silly girl," Heinz said. "Let's leave that in the past. Don't think about it anymore. You shoulder a lot of unnecessary burdens, don't you? It's not good to keep everything in your heart."

“| won't mention it again after today, but | will still keep it in my heart. | know how much you care about Jensen and me."

"Jensen is not as strong as you think. There should be a mutual understanding between you two. After all, you have a long lifeahead." Heinz sighed and said, "Who knows what will happen in the future. You should cherish every moment before anythingbad happens."

Alice just smiled and did not say anything. The two of them returned to the ward together.

In the corridor, they saw Jensen standing at the door looking depressed. It didn't seem like he was planning to enter the wardanytime soon.

Heinz and Alice came over.

"What are you doing standing here? Guarding the door?" Heinz said bluntly. He looked at Jensen, who seemed to be quitedepressed. "If you don't want to go in, then you should go and take a look at Quinn instead."

Jensen looked up and saw Heinz and Alice.

He looked at Heinz blankly. He wanted to speak but stopped on second thought. Then, he looked at Alice. He parted his lips butdid not say anything either.

With one look at him, Alice regained her calmness.Jensen was secretly shocked. Alice seemed to have changed completely.

She was no longer the little girl he knew. Now, even if she had shed tears, she would quickly recover and be able to faceeverything calmly.

It had only been less than 20 minutes and she was already able to regain her composure after crying in the garden. This was Alice Smith. She had grown immensely while he seemed to have regressed.Jensen looked down upon himself. Had he really become more and more unreasonable? He was frustrated about his own attitude.

As if Alice's massive improvement was like a boulder weighing down on him.

He was too narrow-minded.

Alice went straight to the door and entered the room without saying a word.

Heinz stood at the door and looked at him, saying, novelbin

"Why don't you go in?"

"|!" Jensen parted his lips, but didn't know what to say.

Heinz asked, "How's Quinn?"

"| don't know." He shook his head. "! don't have the energy to care about her."

“Hadn't you been paying attention to her? | notice that your concern for her is much greater than the care you have for Grace. I'mbeginning to feel jealous and think that Quinn is actually your sister-in-law instead." Heinz said sarcastically.

Jensen blushed and said, "I didn't expect Grace's condition to be so serious. | thought you guys have always been very careful,so | didn't think much of it."

"There are a lot of things that are beyond your expectations. I'm telling you, if you don’t expect the unexpected, you can expect

your wife to be someone else's." Heinz reminded, "Do something about it, and don't be so narrow-minded."Hearing this, Jensen's eyes widened instantly. "Is Alice having a change of heart? Is she seeing someone else?"

Heinz rolled his eyes. "Officer Charm, do you know what you look like now?"

"I'm on edge," Jensen says."| can see that. You more than just on edge, you're terrified." Heinz said."What did Alice tell you? Can you tell me? Do your buddy a favor and say it.”

"Are you sure I'm your buddy and notQuinn?" Heinz said. ‘Alice is s doing |t fi elt sycu@ho has changed,ee You should start reflectingon your actions." Please read theoriginal content at NovelDrama.Org.

Jensen was startled.

Heinz pushed the door open and said, "I'm going in. Do you want to come in?"Jensen nodded then shook his head.

Heinz took a good look at him before entering the ward.

Timothy was still there.

Grace looked very peaceful and her complexion was getting better.

“Heinz, I'll go back to get a set of clothes and then come back. I'll stay with Grace here tonight." Alice offered as she looked atHeinz.

"It's fine. You still have a lot to do, don't you? We're doing just fine, it'll actually be somewhat inconvenient for me if you stay."Heinz said.

Alice understood that Heinz was worried that she would wear herself out.“I'll be fine. I'm worried that you're not getting enough rest."
