Stefan and Shelley were supposed to go to the police station in a patrol car.

Stefan made it to the office building’s underground parking lot as quickly as he could.
For some unknown reason, he could sense that Renee was in a precarious situation. In fact, the closerhe got, the more intense this feeling became.
After getting out of the elevator, he stepped forward and checked the parking spaces one at a time.
