Chapter 1618

Chapter 1618

Shirley pursed her lips guiltily when she noticed Leia's injuries. "I... I don't know why you're hurt. You

shouldn't falsely accuse me or try to hurt me." "You don't know?" Leia was both infuriated and amused.

"Did you forget how you instigated your fans when I went to see you in the private room? Your fans are

crazy, and they would do anything their idol tells them to do. In short, you're the cause of my injuries

though your fans might be the tools. You must bear legal responsibility since you've committed the

crime of instigating others to break the law." "When did I instigate my fans? There's no point in talking if

you have no evidence, or I'll sue you for slander." Shirley knew that it was a criminal offense if Leia held

her responsible, so she had to deny it.

"You want evidence, right? I have it!" Leia sneered as she took her phone out. "I knew that I might be in

danger before I went into the private room to meet you, so I recorded everything to protect myself. I

recorded all the things you said to your fans. It's up to the judge to decide if you're at fault."

The blood drained from Shirley's face, and she pointed at Leia anxiously." You... You're cunning! How

could you..." "It would be nothing if you were innocent, but you did something illegal and blamed others

for getting evidence against you. You really are the best actress!" Leia waved her phone at Shirley

impatiently. ’’Listen, I can ruin you if I wanted, and everyone would see you as an eyesore given my

evidence and connections. I can even have you put in jail for ten or twenty years. I'm sure it can be

done, but I do have a favor to ask of you, so I won't. I can let this go if you give me your full

cooperation." "Ugh... how?" Shirley gave in because she knew she would be punished for instigating

others if Leia handed her recording to the police. Even if she escaped imprisonment, the public would

see her true colors, and she'd never be able to work in the entertainment industry. Thus, she could

never let that happen.

"Didn't I make myself clear? Go and get a test with my friend. Well discuss it afterwards," Leia said

directly, not wanting to waste any time.

"I..." Shirley bit her lip and tugged at Xavier's arm, trembling and looking pitiful. "Xavier, what do you

think I should do?" She felt that everyone in the manor was fierce except Xavier, and she could only

trust Xavier and ask for his help. She believed that he would not let others bully her regardless of how

much he hated her because of their past.

"It's okay. Just get the test,” Xavier said hoarsely. He was caught in a dilemma. Regardless of whose

side he took, someone would surely get hurt. Hence, he had to take this one step at a time and hopednovelbin

that Shirley's eyes weren't a match.

"Are... are you sure?" Shirley's eyes turned watery. She wasn't stupid-she knew what it meant if she

went for the test. "Does that mean I can't keep my eyes if they're a match?"
