Chapter 1203

’ Liam!” Amber’s eyes turned watery as she rushed towards the man lying on the ground.

She felt the breath leave her lungs, and her face went pale.

Liam pushed away the man in a white coat on top of him and stretched his body. He

sounded relaxed as he said softly, “Miss, stop crying. I’m still alive…”

The people who had been shot were the two ‘surgeons’ in lab coats. Liam had hid behind

them, so he had escaped unscathed.

Renee was hiding in the dismantling room with Joanne, who had fainted. They did not come

out for the time being.

“Master, you’re a bit cruel to your disciple. If it weren’t for these two, I would be dead by

now,’ Liam said slowly, staring at the two dead men on the ground.

“How dare you fool me!’ Furious, Benjamin ordered, ‘Aim your guns at him. Fire again!”

“No, you can’t do that!” Amber spread her arms out wide as she stood before Liam, and said

seriously, “Dad, it looks like you don’t want your daughter anymore. Go ahead and fire. I’ll

die with Liam.”

“Damn it, you’re driving me mad! Come here now!” Benjamin had only one child. Even if he

was a ruthless man, he could not bear to let anything happen to her. Gritting his teeth, henovelbin

yelled, “He doesn’t even like you, but you’re willing to die for him. What are you trying to get

out of this?’

“I don’t want anything. I’ll be fine as long as Liam is fine. I’ll be happy as long as he is. If he

dies here in your hands, I’ll take my life and die with him immediately. Try it if you don’t

believe me.” Amber’s tone was firm, and she even took out the dagger she gave Liam

previously and pressed it against her neck. “Go on! Give it a try!”

Seeing that, Mateo became very anxious. His voice turned shaky as he tried to beg for

mercy for Amber. “Master, Amber looks gentle but she’s a tough one. I don’t think she’s

lying, so let’s not force her. If she becomes desperate…”

“Let her take her life if she’s that desperate! I’ll forget about that child. It’s fine as long as I

have my foster sons with me.” Benjamin clenched his fists and uttered, “It’s my fault. I

protected her so much that I raised an indecisive fool. She interferes with my affairs, so I’d

better give her up.”

“Master, don’t say things out of spite. It’s just her first time falling in love, and she fell for a

man who doesn’t deserve her love. She did nothing wrong. Please give her another chance.

When she grows up and becomes more mature, she’ll be sensible.” Mateo risked infuriating

Benjamin as he tried his best to persuade him.

“Dad, I’m an ungrateful child. I failed to become the kind of daughter you’re proud of. I don’t

care if you hate me, I just want you to let them go. I’ll use my life as a bargaining chip. I’m

begging you, please let them go…” Amber closed her eyes and uttered slowly, “On the count

of three, I’ll slash my neck if you don’t let them go.”

“How dare you!” Benjamin bellowed, “It looks like I’ve spoiled you too much … You seem to

think you’re indispensable! Go ahead and slash your neck. I’ll forget about even having you.

I…”

“One…”

“Go ahead. I won’t let them go even if you cut off your head!”

“Two…”

“Hmph! You’re lying. You know how much I hate being threatened!” “Three!” Amber called

out, and closed her eyes as she pressed the dagger into her skin.
