Chu Feng knew there was no point in reasoning with bullies like that woman. Only violence wouldmake her listen.

That only made Chu Feng feel guiltier. He had to make up to Duo Duo for the lack of a father figure inthe past five years of her life.
He swore an oath to himself that he would protect his daughter with all his might.
He was watching a cartoon with Duo Duo when Zhou Lie and his family returned with bulging shoppingbags filled with daily essentials and groceries.
However, the three of them looked displeased, as though they were arguing with somebody.
"Feng, what happened between you and Uncle Yong earlier?" Zhou Ying asked as she went over toChu Feng. She seemed very unhappy. "Aunt Hui called us just now and scolded us. She said thatwe're foolish and ungrateful. She also said you're a compulsive liar who almost ruined their plan. EvenZhou Li was scolding me sarcastically!"
Chu Feng thought for a while and guessed that Zhou Yong and his family still did not believe in his trueidentity. He smiled and said, "It's only a small misunderstanding."
He briefly described the events that transpired in the restaurant earlier.
