Chapter 2053

Jed narrowed his eyes and sized Fane up again. It was a pure coincidence they ran into each otherand besides, what happened to them had nothing to do with the Dual Sovereign Pavilion, but in theend, they still accepted his offer.

In the cave, they started a fire to keep Albion warm. Those with cultivation normally were notaffected by heat or coldness but Albion was seriously injured and the surrounding temperature wasdecreasing inexplicably, thus they had to start a fire.

The three introduced themselves briefly when they arrived in the cave. They were all informaldisciples of the Thousand Leaves Pavilion. Fane was puzzled by this. In the Dual SovereignPavilion, a final stage

of innate level disciple would already be promoted to a formal disciple but in the Thousand LeavesPavilion, they would have to remain as an informal disciple. It must be due to the latter pavilionbeing a fourth-grade pavilion.novelbin

Albion was in an unconscious state because of his injuries. Jed and Dwight tended to his woundsimply and wiped away the bloodstain on his face. With furrowed brows, they took out all thespirited herbs from their storage ring to give Albion.

Jed was a little agitated. "Those *ssholes! I will avenge Brother Albion no matter what!'

Dwight nodded gravely. "I'll make a report about this once we're back in the Thousand LeavesPavilion. They'll surely take this matter seriously.”

Fane and Nash glanced at each other then Fane coughed lightly and asked, "If you don't mind measking, what happened?

He realized that they would not tell him anything if it concerned the grudge between two Clanassociations or something confidential, but he was just too curious.

Jed took one look at him and said, "It's nothing to hide about. We had a run-in with the people fromCorpse Pavilion."

Fane's expression changed when he heard this. He unknowingly raised his voice when he asked,"Corpse Pavilion? Disciples from the fourth-grade Corpse Pavilion?"

Jed nodded, undisguised anger all over his face as if he could not wait to annihilate the entireCorpse Pavilion. "Yes, them, alright. What's more, I don't think they’re your average disciplesbecause the leader of the group is already at the spring solidifying level.

Fane's expression changed again. It was no wonder they were so badly injured. It was pure miraclethat they had survived under the attack of a spring solidifying level fighter.

However, Fane had another question in his mind. "The Corpse Pavilion is in the south of the WestCercie State and their sphere of influence is not here. How was it possible for them to come overwhen there is Mount Beasts with its overbearing monsters situated in between?”

Dwight exhaled heavily. "We were surprised to see them here too. After all, in so many years, theywould not have come here unless the Thousand Leaves Pavilion invited them. Mount Beasts actsas a natural regional barrier that perfectly separates the Corpse Pavilion from the Thousand LeavesPavilion. We never thought that they would suddenly appear since the forces on both sides are toofar apart and there is no border between them."

Fane had read about the Corpse Pavilion when flipping through the classics. In the classics, theCorpse Pavilion was described as an ambitious and ruthless Clan association. Although this Clanassociation was extremely dangerous, due to the existence of the Mount Beasts, there was nodirect conflict of interest between the two pavilions.
