Chapter 1983

Noel glanced at Zayn and scoffed lightly, though he understood why Zayn's face seemed to havefrozen. Zayn's disbelief was also the representation of his inability to believe in what washappening. Noel took a deep breath and slowly said, "No wonder that guy could talk to me in such away. It turns out that I've bumped into an exceptional genius, after all."

Zayn was unable to contain his surprise." Who's this person? Which newly recruited informaldisciple is he?"

Noel frowned as he spoke, "You might not know who it is if it was just some random person, but I’msure you've heard of him. He’s Fane, the person who agreed to fight Wesley on the wager battlearena."

The fight between Wesley and a newly recruited informal disciple spread like wildfire among theinformal disciples, and this was treated like gossip. After all, nobody thought that Fane would beable to defeat Wesley-it was impossible. What Wesley did was despicable, but he did not seem tobe fazed, seeing as he had a strong background.

On top of that, the fact that Fane had an individual room was a cause for jealousy. Even if Wesleydid not come forward to do this, there would be other disciples fighting against Fane for the room.

Noel also had the same thoughts in the past, but he had already denied these ideas. "It looks likeWesley is going to suffer this time. This young man is no regular man."

Zayn slightly nodded before he quickly shook his head after he heard this. He thought about itcarefully and said, "We can't say that for sure. After all, Wesley had been training in the pavilion forsome time, and he’s one step ahead in both talent and strength. Although Fane is quite talented inthe soul attribute, we’re not sure how long he's been training the martial art techniques and martialskills for. If he's new at this, Fane would never be Wesley's opponent.”novelbin

Noel subconsciously raised his eyebrows after he heard this, but he eventually nodded aftercarefully thinking about it. What Zayn said made sense; there were some differences between theircapabilities.

It was true that Fane was quite talented in the soul attribute, but they had no idea how long he hadbeen practicing the martial art techniques and martial skill of this attribute. If he had just started, hewas no match for Wesley. Noel sighed softly in understanding when he thought of this.

"No wonder that guy agreed to the fight without any hesitation. It seems that he’s absolutelyconfident about his talents. However, he had underestimated the strength of our disciples from theDual Sovereign Pavilion. Even though he's talented, the difference in realm is there, and it isn't soeasy for that guy to cross over so easily."

Zayn nodded in agreement and commented, "That’s true. Shall we inform Wesley about this andask him to be careful? After all, the martial art techniques and martial skills of the soul attribute aremysterious and unpredictable. Normal people will get hurt easily if they aren’t prepared.” Noelfrowned. He knew that if he informed Wesley about this news, he was doing Wesley a favor.Unfortunately, that would also mean offending Fane at the same time. Offending a newly recruitedinformal disciple was nothing in the past but Fane was not a normal new recruit. The others mightnot know this, but he was able to see this.

Thinking things through, Noel shook his head decisively. "We can't allow this news to spread. Evenif others learn about Fane's talents, it can't be coming from the both of us."
