Gerald nodded and stayed at the same spot.
The family member who left the last closed the door before exiting.

“Patriarch Futaba, Ms. Fujiko and I are just acting. I still don’t have the heart to think about things likeromance and relationships for now.” Gerald immediately waved and refused, fearing that the acting
would grow into something real, and he wouldn’t be able to get out of it.
