she?”

A few minutes later, the bodyguard opened the door. Zach, exuding an intimidating presence, entered a
dimly lit room that resembled a prison cell. In a windowless room with only a door, Lily trembled as she
crawled toward Zach when she heard the door open, “M-Mr. Jardin, please spare me. I confess! I’ll
confess to everything!”
Zach remained silent, his expression dark and menacing. His chilling presence made it clear that he
posed a threat. A bodyguard fetched a chair, and Zach sat down. He took a cigarette from his pocket
and placed it in his mouth, exhaling a cloud of smoke, “Speak!”
Zach’s aloof and disdainful demeanor, looking down from a position of authority, reminded one of the

Lily confessed, “Yvonne gave me a sum of money and asked me to provide Ms. Jent’s hair. I didn’t
