Madelyn was stubborn. Although Kevin did not know exactly what happened. He could
somewhat guess it. He could not imagine what happened after Cecilia went back to Southern HavenVillas with Zach last night. But he did not expect Madelyn to be the one who got kicked out of the villa.

Kevin asked, “Mr. Jardin, should we have someone take Ms. Jent back?!”
Right after he said that, they saw Clement cover Madelyn’s legs with a thin blanket. He sat downbeside her and said, “I thought you went home.”
Clement, who was drunk, had actually sobered up when she left. He was standing on the third floorwatching her for a very long time. She looked extremely beautiful when she was looking earnestly atthe snow as if she was reminiscing about someone.
Madelyn clenched her cold fists as she lifted her head to look at the dark sky, “I no longer have a home.My only family passed away a few months ago. I’m all alone now.”
Clement subconsciously realized he had said something wrong. He panicked as he said, “I’m sorry. Ididn’t mean to make you remember things that make you feel sad. I’m sorry.” Madelyn smiled in relief,
“You don’t need to apologize. Everyone will die someday. People leave sooner or later. Being aloneisn’t that bad.”
Madelyn rarely said such sentimental words to those around her, since such pessimistic emotions wereprone to affect others.
She looked at the snow for one last time before picking up the blanket on her legs and draping it overherself, “Let’s go back and finish the work now. It’s my first time working overtime with you all; I can’tfall behind!”
Clement nodded. He walked behind her without saying a word.
Then, a strong beam of light shone on Clement, making it difficult for him to open his eyes. Madelynnoticed something was wrong, so she turned her head toward the direction of the light to look at it withhim.
At ten o’clock at night, the office building was still brightly lit.
The atmosphere in the entire studio was depressing.
Zach’s exuded a chilling vibe that was colder than the snow outside.
Everyone stared at him in the meeting room. He carried an air of elegance and was filled with an auraof restrained sensuality.
The people outside the meeting room could not listen to the conversation inside.
Someone asked, “Clement, the man inside… Am I dreaming?! Isn’t the CEO of Jardin Corporation,Zach Jardin?! Why’d he come to our studio?!”
Clement frowned, “What, are you guys all done with your work?
“Do you all still want your year-end bonus or not?!”
Everyone dispersed after hearing that statement.
“I won’t restrict your freedom. My only requirement is for you to always let me know your whereabouts,”Zach said as he took out something from the pocket of his suit and placed it in front of her.
The snow that had melted on Madelyn’s shoulders wet her hair. She looked cool and distant as shestared at him, “I won’t take your things. I can buy a phone myself. I don’t need you to spend money onme. It’s too expensive.” Her tone was cold.
