After Kevin finished his last phone call, he walked into the hall, “Mr. Jardin, the hospital just called. Ms.Jent’s surgery will be completed soon. We should go back now.”novelbin
Zach opened his eyes. His strong gaze was less fierce than before, with an addition of calmness,“What time is it now?”
Kevin responded, “It’s already eight in the evening. Once we arrive at the hospital, her surgery shouldbe close to completion.”
Zach and Kevin then walked out of the hall.
There were two people that walked out from behind the church. It was an abbot and a staff member.The staff member asked, “Is this the person who donated money to our church?
“If he’s so rich, why does he still have worries?”
The abbot answered, “Everyone in the world has their worries, no matter who.”

The road downhill was rough. It filled with potholes, causing the car to jolt. In the heavy rain, the carsped along the elevated road.
When they arrived at the hospital, the scent of the church candles still lingered on Zach. When hearrived at the ward, he saw Kai, who looked weary, standing near the observation window.
