Kai watched Zach as he hurriedly left.
He looked away and trailed Zach’s earlier directions. He asked, “Has she been examined? What’s theresult?”
The nurse walked behind Kai, “Her emotions were too intense, which caused cerebral bleeding. Otherdoctors have already started preparing for surgery. We’re waiting for you to lead the operation now.”
Zach arrived at Madelyn’s ward, where the doctors were administering a sedative to her.
