Zach did not reply. On the other hand, Kai kept on losing one round after another. He had already losttens of thousands of dollars to Zach and was losing interest in the game.

“Thank you, Mr. Jardin,” the two hostesses said. Kai shouted, “Don’t go! I was worried you’d feel alonewithout Madelyn around, so I asked Wincy to come and entertain you. How will I win back my money ifyou leave?”
