“Last night, the CEO of the Arnold Corporation caused such a big commotion just to find you. Wheredid you go?”
Madelyn remained silent.

She said, “What are you all doing? Don’t come any closer. Quickly get out of our way.”

“Everyone!” A strong, powerful voice silenced the clamor. When people turned around to look at theman behind them and noticed his air of authority, they quieted down and made way for him.

That man was Zach. Madelyn stared blankly at him as he walked toward her. She felt like she hadtraveled through time the moment she saw him. She thought she saw the figures of Zach from her pastlife and her current life overlapped. The memory from her past life suddenly resurfaced in her mind.
Madelyn could not remember the exact year, month, or day, but it was the second year of her marriageto Zach. At that time, to outsiders, Zach and Madelyn were an affectionate couple.
