Chapter 3804 Uncultured Reprobate

“Since you’re not that powerful, you can stay here and wait for our return, Levi,” Cheriette saidsolemnly. Of course, she wasn’t genuinely concerned about Levi’s safety. As the battle for the dragonley line was bound to be chaotic, she believed that a weakling like Levi would only embarrass them andruin Astre Lune Sect’s reputation.

“This is a rare opportunity for me to broaden my horizons. I’ll follow you from afar and put on a disguiseto hide my affiliation with the sect. That way, you don’t have to worry about me ruining your sect’sreputation,” Levi reassured her. His response was typical of a newcomer to Kenfort.

Since Cheriette had no reason to refuse his request, all she could do was remind him sternly, “All right, then. Make sure to be careful out there, okay? We might not be able to protect you if things get chaotic,so follow us at your own risk.”

Levi nodded. “Got it. I’ll just hide really far away if things start to go south.” The sect members burst outlaughing when they heard what he said. Because of how funny he was, they were starting to like himas the joker of the group.

Levi breathed a sigh of relief when he saw them warming up to him. A large dragon ley line and VoidSect in the same place? There’s no way I would sit this one out!

Not wanting to waste any more time, Cheriette quickly led the group over to Tragora Mountain. As theyhappened to be quite near the mountain, they arrived in just a few hours.

Since Levi wasn’t sure if Void Sect’s representatives would recognize him, he made sure to don adisguise before hiding among the crowd.

Tragora Mountain was so tall that its peak was hidden in the clouds, and it ranged as far as the eyecould see.

The trees and rocks atop Tragora Mountain were thousands of years old, and a dense fog shroudedthe entire mountain starting from its foot.

It was truly a magnificent sight to behold.

One of Astre Lune Sect’s members exclaimed in awe, “Wow! This place is rich in spiritual energy!”

“Be on your guard, everyone! We’ll be going up against some really tough opponents!” Cheriettereminded them with a stern frown.

Levi glanced in the direction Cheriette was pointing and saw lots of fighters from other sects alreadygathered at the foot of the mountain.

“Polario Palace, Aether Sword Clan, Ethereal Castle, and Crimson Cloud Hall… Those sects are aspowerful as Astre Lune Sect, so don’t draw their attention unless absolutely necessary,” Cheriette saidin an attempt to warn Levi as she noticed him slowly approaching those sects.

“Got it. Thanks for the kind reminder, Empyrean Cheriette,” Levi whispered.

Astre Lune Sect’s members enjoyed seeing him behaving submissively toward Cheriette.

Ha! What an uncultured reprobate!novelbin

Suddenly, someone called out to them in a mocking tone, “I’m surprised you have the audacity to showup here, Cheriette! Now that you have, however, don’t even think about making it out alive!”

Seconds later, a team comprising over twenty men came rushing over.

The expression on Cheriette’s face turned icy when she saw who it was. “Empyrean Jayceon Moore ofthe Septistar Order?”

The person leading the group was a young man with a slender build and a sadistic look in his eyes. Hewas as excited as a predator that had found its prey when he saw Cheriette.

There were a few elders from the Septistar Order standing behind him, each of them staringdisdainfully at Cheriette.

“This dragon ley line will belong to the Septistar Order, Cheriette. Since you’re all here, I’ll take yourlives along with the dragon ley line!” Jayceon said with a menacing grin.

Upon noticing Levi in the group, Jayceon continued, “My goodness, Astre Lune Sect really is scrapingthe bottom of the barrel these days! I can’t believe you’d take in a weakling like him! You guys must beout of your minds for recruiting a reprobate from the mundane world! You know what? I’ll be kindenough to spare your lives if you’re willing to be my slave, Cheriette! What do you say?”

What the… How dare this guy humiliate Empyrean Cheriette like that?

Astre Lune Sect’s members were about to attack out of anger, but Cheriette stopped them and said,“Don’t count your chickens before they hatch, Jayceon. We’ll see who’s better when we compete forthe dragon ley line!”q
