Chapter 3691 Levi Wants Gloria Dead
In the past, Floyd could still judge objectively what he heard about Gloria. Yet, with Gloria gaslightinghim and the effects of Demon Incantation and the Pill of Evil at play, Floyd could no longer assess thesituation clearly.
He still insisted that they were trying to set Gloria up even though Phoenix had given him compellingevidence of Gloria’s crimes. If Floyd had not had innate self-control, he would have destroyed Phoenixand the others long ago.
Every time someone said something negative about Gloria, the impulse to kill them would burn likewildfire in his heart. “Are you okay, Floyd?” Black Tortoise asked.
“Stop spewing nonsense, and I’ll be okay,” he retorted, suppressing the urge to kill them. He left in ahurry to avoid them and came to a quiet place where he punched a few trees vehemently until thetrunks exploded into pieces. Only then did he feel slightly better.
Yet, his anger was not fully appeased. He badly needed to vent the frustration boiling in his chest.Suddenly, he received news from Gloria saying she wanted to meet him at a particular place so shecould go to the base to clarify all the misunderstandings.
Floyd was exhilarated. His ability had improved so much, and he was confident that he would havemore say than ever over matters in the base.
He was delighted that the day when he could finally be together with Gloria had finally come after sucha long wait.
Floyd was so excited he wished he could just grow a pair of wings and fly to their rendezvous spot.
About two hours later, Floyd sensed a strong murderous vibe coming from afar.
“Gloria is in danger!”
Increasing his speed, Floyd soon arrived in the vicinity of the battle.
At first, he wanted to intervene and help Gloria, but then he realized the person trying to kill her wasnone other than Levi.
“What’s going on?”
Floyd was stunned. He was torn between who to help and finally decided to observe quietly.

Gloria could barely defend herself under Levi’s attack, let alone fight back, and this was when Levi wasnot using the full extent of his power too.

Levi’s warning was so severe Floyd felt a shudder running down his spine.
“You’re my master, even if you refused to take me as your disciple. I have no regrets about dying atyour hands. Floyd and I have already promised ourselves to one another. I’m his. I only have one wishbefore I die. Promise me you won’t do anything to him. It’s all my fault, so just do whatever you wantwith me.”
When she was done, Gloria closed her eyes as if she was ready to accept her fate.
Floyd wanted to intercept, but Levi suddenly spoke. “For Floyd’s sake, I’ll spare your life and onlydestroy your cultivation. However, you’ll have to sever all ties with Floyd. I’ll kill you if you do otherwise.I won’t change my mind even if Floyd stops me, so you should give up now.”
With that said, Levi dealt Gloria another blow, hurling her off like a stringless kite until she slammed intothe ground hard.
“Mark my words, Gloria.”
With that said, Levi turned and left.
The whole thing happened so swiftly that Levi was already out of sight when Floyd finally snapped backto his senses.
“Are you okay, Gloria?” he cried out, running over with worry.
