When battling the Ancient Clan, Dr. Erebus forced them into a corner by boosting his strength throughspecial means. That was what drove them into poisoning Forlevia.

However, the sight of the fighters that were exposed to the spiritual energy’s radiation left him petrified.

These guys are all surging with spiritual energy! My strength is average at best when compared totheirs! His instinct told him that these men did not come with good intentions and that they were either afterhim or Levi.

Since he couldn’t possibly fight them off, he could only place all of his hope in Levi.

Seeing as Levi had maintained a disdainful attitude toward Deities, Dr. Erebus could only pray that Levitruly had the capabilities to back his behavior up.

Levi, too, found it strange that they were being surrounded upon their arrival in Spaunia.

After all, he was only bringing Forlevia over to search for a cure for her poisoning.

“My daughter has been poisoned, so I’m in a really bad mood right now. You have three seconds to getout of here before I go on a murderous rampage!” Levi shouted while scanning the crowd around them.

Under normal circumstances, he would’ve been a little nicer toward them. However, his daughter’sterrible condition got him feeling incredibly irritable.

At that moment, Levi was so mad that he had no qualms about killing anyone who got in his way.

“Hahahaha…”

Everyone simply burst out laughing when they heard his threat.

None of them believed that Levi would be able to go on a killing spree.

In fact, they were confident that any one of them could crush Levi with ease as they all had their bodiesstrengthened from the spiritual energy.

They were much stronger than the ones present at the scene and appeared to be Spaunia’s mostpowerful fighters.

Of course, Deities had yet to show up as their assistance was not deemed necessary.
