Chapter 1437

“Huh?”

The little girl’s mom went over and a shocking sight greeted her.

A man was slowly standing up from the sea, and he was covered in blood.

The mom quickly grabbed her daughter and ran away as fast as she could.

The man got onto the shore and flung himself onto the beach, enjoying the warm sun. He laughinglyjested, “Looks like God had refused to take me in again!”

That man was none other than Levi!novelbin

Yes, he was alive!

This miracle was all thanks to an ancient skill called “Reversero,” which he found in a book back inprison.

This ancient skill was inspired by the rising of the phoenix. A phoenix could only obtain a new life byrising from the ashes. Similarly, “Reversero” taught one how to gain strength from destruction—thegreater the damage, the greater the gain.

That skill was just what Levi needed in those savage battles of Mount Drago. Under the extremeconditions, he managed to perfect the skills, and his prowess was greatly enhanced as a result of thebrutal sufferings he went through.

The carpeted-bombing was the ultimate test of his mastery, and he passed with flying colors, saving hisown life.

Of course, even with mastery of that ancient skill, there was a limit to how much damage a human bodycould take. If the body was blasted into tiny fragments, the ancient skill would be of no use.

As such, Levi had to thank Jonah for the armor he gifted him.

It was that armor that protected his body from major damage during the battles. Although it could notkeep him free from injuries, it had managed to keep his body in one piece.

That gave Levi the chance to make use of the ancient skill to enhance his prowess. Without the armor,he would have perished. Unfortunately, the armor eventually disintegrated under the relentlessbombing.

All that, together with Jonah’s armor, saved Levi’s life.

Although he managed to survive the catastrophic battles, his body was badly mutilated. There weremultiple wounds on him that needed time to heal.

After a short rest, Levi hurriedly left the beach. He knew he would be in trouble if his foes tracked himdown. He might have gained greater prowess, but with his physical injuries, he would not be able tomake use of his newly-gained powers.

Levi chose to recuperate in Keerea as he knew the most dangerous place would be the safest too. Hisfoes would have never imagined he was right under their nose.

As soon as he settled in a safe hiding place, Levi took out his Dragon Ring and carefully cleaned it.After that, he fished out the Erudia Banner and folded it neatly before putting it away.

No one knew how Crown King looked like, so Levi could safely recuperate in Keerea.

When he heard about the malicious slanders Prince William spread about him, he was furious.

On the other hand, by doing so, Prince William had also given Levi valid reasons to go after them in thefuture.

Levi laughed when he found out the whole world thought he had perished. It was a blessing in disguise,as he could then resume his identity as Levi.

“Now, Crown King is dead, but Levi is alive!”

“Sorry I have to make you wait a little longer, Evie and Zoey. I will come back to you once I recover!” hesoftly promised.

After cleaning up, Levi lay down to rest. Physically, he was very drained and weak—so weak that evena couple of God class warriors could subdue him. He might have gained great prowess, but before heregain his physical fitness, it was of no use as he could not execute that prowess. He had gone throughthat once and had no wish for history to repeat itself.

“Thank goodness no one would find out I am recuperating in Keerea, let alone find me in this busycapital Stellar City!” Just as he thought he had a foolproof arrangement, he heard a knock on his door.

Knock, knock, knock…

It was a loud and urgent knock.

“No…” A look of worry appeared briefly on Levi’s face.
