Chapter 721 I’ll Pay for Him
That was because he had come to this world, but now, it seemed like there was another Chen Hao.
Ziyan had specifically instructed Chen Hao not to meet with his other self under any circumstances.
That was why Chen Hao had to look for his past self and momentarily hide him somewhere secluded.
In other words, he had to replace his other self during these seven days.

Meanwhile, a male student was being tripped by an extremely well-built student in the school
compound.

The girthy guy then left with the girl in his arms.
They were at the school compound where many students passed by. After witnessing the scene unfold,
many of the students started pointing fingers and commenting about Chen Hao.
Chen Hao had been stomped right in his gut, and he felt a series of cramps in his stomach. Yet, all he
could do at the moment was to clutch his stomach and bite onto his lips.
It was apparent that this was not the first time something like this happened.
However, what made him feel really humiliated were the sarcastic looks from the crowd. He picked
himself up from the ground, and grabbed his snakeskin bag that he used to collect empty bottles before
dashing off in embarrassment.
Chen Hao fled to a barren corner outside of school.
He squatted down with tears streaming down his face.
Chen Hao did not want things to be this way either. However, he was poor and had no other choice.
Of course, it had never crossed his mind that his behavior was disgraceful.
But why does everyone bully me?
As he pondered on, Chen Hao received a notification of a text message from his battered phone.
It was a text message from his girlfriend, Yang Xia.
“Chen Hao, I’ve thought about this matter for quite some time now. Why don’t we take a break from
each other? Please do not misunderstand, I have no other intentions. I just want to spend some time
on my own to think about our future! Don’t contact me for the time being!”
It was plain that it was a break up message from Yang Xia.
“Why?”
He wailed in pain.
He did not notice the man wearing a cap and a mask watching him nearby.
“Looks like I’ve returned to the point in my life where I had just broken up with Yang Xia!”
That was right, this person was none other than Chen Hao who had just returned.
He had never showed himself before this because he wanted to be sure of the point of time he had
travelled back to, and he was sure of it now.
Chen Hao slowly walked up to him.
“W-what do you want from me?”
His past self picked up his snakeskin bag with a terrified look on his face.
Chen Hao had transfigured his voice using an enchantment; that was why he looked like a total
stranger standing in front of him.
Chen Hao frowned. “Why do I feel like punching you after seeing you behave like this?”
He was speechless.
This was him from the past!
As for the current Chen Hao, he wanted to give himself a few slaps across his face.
He was an extraordinary Young Master. How could he have behaved like a loser?
He was irritated by the sight of himself.
It was an intriguing feeling.
“Just let me leave after you’ve beaten me up!” Chen Hao yelled. His most beloved Yang Xia had just
broken up with him and he was all alone. Moreover, what right did he have to stand up for himself when
he was being bullied and rebuked? None!
“God damn it!”
Chen Hao was in disbelief. He did not waste any more time on such nonsense, and accurately poked
Chen Hao’s acupoint right away, making him unconscious.
“Sigh, your luck will turn around soon. However, I hope that you will toughen up after that. Don’t be a
good-for-nothing like me. You're a man, so act like one!” Chen Hao helped himself up as he smiled
bitterly.
Naturally, he had to hide this version of Chen Hao. After erasing this particular part of his memory,
Chen Hao would reappear once more, disguised as himself.
Everything else would be a breeze for him after finishing everything up here.
Half an hour later, Chen Hao reappeared in his own clothes. However, he had ditched the snakeskin
bag altogether.

and memories.

Soon, Chen Hao arrived at the spot where the milk tea shop was located.
This milk tea shop was one of Chen Hao’s fondest memories.
It was where he had officially met Tongxin in the first place. He could still clearly remember Tongxin’snovelbin

Thinking back to how long they have been separated for, Chen Hao could not help but feel sorrowful
having to return to this place again.
“Boss, give me a cup of milk tea!” said Chen Hao. The owner of the shop was still the same person.
“Sure, here you go!” The boss handed over the milk tea with ease. “Young man, eight bucks please!”
“Sure!”
Chen Hao subconsciously took out a banknote from his pocket and handed it to the boss. “Keep the
change!” said Chen Hao.
He was about to leave when he heard a shout from the owner. “Damn it! Hold up, young man! What do
you mean by keeping the change? A cup of milk tea costs eight bucks. You gave me 50 cents and
asked me to keep the change?”
The boss stared at Chen Hao like he was a fool.
“Um…”
Chen Hao took a look at it; it really was 50 cents.
He had forgotten that he was now the Chen Hao who was a poor student.
To be honest, the current Chen Hao no longer had a clear concept on the value of banknotes. The last
time he spent money was in the billions. That was why he was not used to it now!
Damn it, my current self has no money on him at all. I reckon these 50 cents is the last of his savings!
Chen Hao was put in an awkward situation.
Meanwhile, the people around him who were there to buy milk teas covered their mouths, snickering at

The expression on their faces looked as if they were saying, this poor guy has the audacity to get
himself some milk tea?
“Damn it, don’t tell me you don't have eight bucks on you?”
The boss was stunned.
“I-I really don’t have the money!” Chen Hao replied awkwardly. He patted down his pockets again and
there wasn't a penny left.
“Are you kidding me? Do you think I’m a fool? A cup of milk tea costs next to nothing, but you handed
me 50 cents and asked me to keep the change. What is that supposed to mean? Why are you acting
so snobbishly when you're actually poor? There is no way I’m letting you go today unless you pay for it.
If not, I will complain to the school!”
The owner of the milk tea shop was getting furious and Chen Hao did not know what to do.
Just as everyone was making fun of him, he heard a soft, sweet voice from behind.
“Boss, quit embarrassing him. Here’s the eight bucks. I will pay it for him!”
This voice was crisp and pleasant, like the sound of an oriole. It was mingled with a sense of elegance
and a gentle tone.
Chen Hao suddenly shivered after hearing the voice, and the cup of milk tea in his hands fell to the
ground...
