Chapter 701 Heading to the North Desert
Gu Yuehong and her men saw flames that burned tall into the sky when they got back to the Gu house.
The whole Gu house was in flames, seeming that it would soon be turned into ash.

like they might be the ones who took your friends away?” the owner said as he looked outside and
pointed at a group of at least a dozen people.
Chen Hao followed the inn owner’s gaze and saw a tall lady in sportswear leading the group. The lady
was tall, with a lean physique that suggested she was a practitioner of the martial arts. She had
naturally wavy long hair that reached to her shoulders and her appearance was extremely beautiful and
ethereal; one look was enough to tell that she was not a local.
She was having a walk on the street with a dozen suited bodyguards following closely behind her; just
as the inn owner had mentioned, all those bodyguards wore a circular symbol on their chests.
“It was them?” Chen Hao could not help but frown as he walked up to her with the intention of asking
them a few questions.
“Please go back, Miss. We were the ones who were originally in charge of this. Moreover, Tiger Lei is
an extremely cunning person. I’m afraid that something might go wrong and you will be put in danger!”
said a middle-aged man behind her.
The middle-aged man had sharp eyebrows and a pair of handsome eyes; his palms could be seen to
be full of calluses, and judging from the imposing aura that emanated from him, he seemed to be also
an expert in the martial arts. He was following the lady from behind and was trying his best to convince
her.

“I would like to ask you guys about something. I have six of my friends, two men and four women, and
they have stayed at this inn. I heard the owner say that they were escorted away by someone in the
early hours yesterday. Was it your people?” Chen Hao smiled politely; he decided to just act as a
normal person around them.
“What the hell? Who do you think you are? Go ask the person who took them away! Why are you even
asking me about this? I’ve seen the likes of you many times. Cut it out with your lame pickup lines. Why
don’t you take a look at yourself in the mirror? You’re not even worth my time!” said Du Yining with
much contempt.
The bodyguards behind her stepped forward as she was saying those words; they all gave a cold glare
toward Chen Hao, trying to scare this creep away from their Miss…
