Chapter 285 A Turn of Tables
“Hmph! I don’t care who she is! Of course I slapped her! She spilled soup on me! She’s just a little
waitress, so what’s the big deal?” Lin Yue retorted.
Of course Lin Yue dared to make a scene in the restaurant because she knew Yu Qiang, who had a
powerful connection, would cover her back. She had been feeling very depressed watching Wang Min
stealing the limelight since the morning. And now, a lobby manager was snapping at her when she

The father of Wang Junyue was the manager of the scenic zone’s Foreign Investment Department. He

Wang Junyue wanted to gain some working experience by becoming a waitress here at the restaurant

The staff in the restaurant continued making their calls while Lin Yue kept rattling on in anger.
Soon, three black Audi A6 arrived at the entrance of the restaurant.
“Damn! Who the hell slapped my daughter? You must be tired of living!” A middle-aged man in a suit
marched in with about seven to eight people following behind him; they looked extraordinarily fierce like

Looking at those people, Lin Yue was frightened and she turned to Yu Qiang for help.
“President Wang, it was her who slapped Jun Yue!” the lobby manager said, pointing at Lin Yue.
“Damn! How dare you slap Jun Yue! Grab her!” President Wang waved his hand and his bodyguard
was about to make a move when Yu Qiang stood up and walked toward him. “Well, you must be
Manager Wang. I’m afraid we have a misunderstanding here. How about I give Assistant Manager
Wang a call? It was the manager of the scenic zone who let us in here. I suppose you don’t want any
trouble here, do you?” Yu Qiang said in a diplomatic tone.
Yu Qiang thought that he had a powerful backup; he wanted to know what Manager Wang had to say
after he had introduced his connection.
“Goddammit! Li and Wang are both nothing to me! How dare you use them to threaten me? Open your
goddamn eyes and see!”
Smack! Manager Wang raised his hand and slapped Yu Qiang’s face; it was a slap hard enough to
make Yu Qiang stumble.

Both Wang Min and Lin Yue called out to Yu Qiang simultaneously.
“Hmph! I wonder why these people are so arrogant. They think that the scenic zone is under the control
of Manager Li and Assistant Manager Wang. But what they don’t know is that both of them still need to
listen and take orders from you, President Wang!” the lobby manager sneered.
“What?” Yu Qiang, who was about to retaliate, was stunned when he heard the lobby manager’s
words. Assistant Manager Wang also needs to take orders from him?
Suddenly, Lin Yue screamed as two bodyguards came over and pulled her hair, then slapped her
repeatedly; the restaurant was in chaos.
“Let me tell you something. Things are not over yet because you people bullied my daughter today. I’ll
make sure all of you pay for what you did! No one will escape!” Manager Wang said, his eyes turned
red in fury. He was extremely angry as his precious daughter was bullied on her first day at work.

“Manager Wang, we are not the ones who slapped your daughter!” Wang Hao said in panic.
The bodyguards beat them up badly.
Wang Min, who was older than Chen Hao and his friends, was frightened by the bodyguards too.

She was the female attendant from the ticketing counter earlier, who seemed to be one of the lesser

“Humph! Liu, it’s you. What’s the matter? Why can’t I continue?” Manager Wang asked angrily.
The female attendant rushed toward Manager Wang, then she whispered a few words in his ear and
Manager Wang’s face grew paler and paler… “What did you say? It was the big boss who made the
arrangements for them to enter the scenic zone?”
“Yes, President Wang. The security guard told me that the VIP had some kind of troubles here. That’s
why I came here as soon as possible,” the female attendant explained while nodding her head.
Manager Wang gasped in fear.
The female attendant had related the whole matter to him clearly. Initially, the group could not get the
tickets to enter the zone. Then, the group leader, Yu Qiang called his father to help them enter the
zone. Yu Qiang’s father then called her to let those people in, but since she had to follow the rules, she
did not agree to let them in. However, she received a call from Manager Li who told her that he
received a call from the General Manager, Li Zhenguo’s right-hand man, saying that those people were

procurement trip.
Manager Wang was very worried and confused with the situation after listening to the female attendant,
