Chapter 246 Bumped into my Close Brother
“That would be good. At first, the conditions were not met but now as long as you sell off your car and
buy a house in Ping An County; consequently, with a job as a clerk in the government sector that I can
provide, you could live a considerably stable life.”
Jiang Weidong continued saying, “I used to have a staff member whose sister is only three years older
than you and is single. That way, when you settle everything, I could also be your matchmaker and you
would be able to marry her as well.”
Chen Hao was stunned. As long as I donate money to him, I would receive such good treatment?
Just then, in a surprised voice, Jiang Ranran questioned, “Father, are you referring to the sister of that
staff member that works for you? Isnt-isnt she mentally challenged?”
“So what? Do you think it is easy to look for a wife now? Take a look at Chen Hao, I am not even sure if
the girl would want a man like him!”
Jiang Weidong casually said.

Chen Hao was furious and his expression hardened.

Jiang Weidong though was not done with his nonsense.
Once the meal was over, Jiang Weidong contacted a second hand car dealer. He ordered Chen Hao to
resolve the car issue quickly. That way Chen Hao could donate a portion of it and use the remaining
amount to purchase a house. Then, Jiang Weidong could also arrange a contractual job offer for Chen
Hao.
Then I would be considered as a public official!
Chen Hao was definitely not willing to do so.
He was even tempted to reveal his identity right away and embarrass them.
However, he recalled what his father urged him to do. After all, his father and Aunty Tang had wronged
Uncle Jiang in the past.

After the meal, Jiang Weidong said casually.
If Lin Dong was not the one that brought up the idea for Chen Hao to donate some money, Jiang
Weidong had no intentions of helping Chen Hao to look for a job. Not even if it was a contractual job.
However, now that he was going to donate some money, at the very least I could arrange a clerk job for
him in any department. An income of two to three thousand a month would be considered a sign of
gratitude for his donation!
Of course Lin Dong agreed to accompany Chen Hao.

Hao’s money including his car. That way he could no longer show off and brag in the future!

Chen Hao merely wanted to cut all ties with them this way and avoid any complications as well as to
shut them up.
That way even if my father asks me to help them, I have a reason to turn him down.
As such, Lin Dong, Jiang Ranran as well as her few close friends all headed over to the second hand
car dealer.
Lin Dong happily shouted. “Boss, come out here. We have a car that we want to sell!”
“Coming! Oh my, a G Wagon!”
A young man walked out and was surprised to see a G Wagon.
Lin Dong on the other hand went over to the boss and offered a cigarette. He wanted to excuse himself
and talk to the boss for a minute.
He wanted to ask the boss to quote Chen Hao a lower price.
What he did not expect was that Chen Hao suddenly turned towards the boss of the second hand car
dealer and said with a smile, “Li Xiao?”
The boss of the second hand car dealer lifted his head and upon seeing Chen Hao, he was stunned.
Then, he smacked his own leg and said, “Damn! Chen Hao?”
He also walked over toward Chen Hao in excitement.
Li Xiao was Chen Hao’s neighbour and childhood friend. They were best buddies and played together
from a young age. He was half a year older than Chen Hao and Chen Hao owed a debt of gratitude to
him.
Both of them had stellar academic results since young and were always top of the class.
However, certain things happened in the next few years and he was not able to continue pursuing his
studies. He dropped out before completing high school and joined a mechanic workshop to learn the
craft. Who would have known that a few years later, his business expanded and he became the boss of
a second hand car dealer.
Due to the fact that Chen Hao was studying abroad and did not return home, they barely contacted
each other over the last two years.
However, even if childhood friends did not meet for three or five years, once they bumped into each
other, the friendship between them would still be as close as it was in their childhood.
“When did you get back? Why didn't you give me a call!”
Li Xiao punched Chen Hao’s chest hard.
Chen Hao smiled and happily replied, “I just came back not long ago. I did not return to my hometown,
instead I am currently living in Jin Ling City.”
“Li Xiao, you should be serving your customer. What are you doing?”
Just then, a girl walked out from the store. She was dressed rather fashionably and looked around the
same age as Chen Hao.
Chen Hao also knew the girl as they used to be in the same middle school. Back then, she was already
dating Li Xiao.
Her family owned the supermarket in town and was wealthy.
Chen Hao did not expect their relationship to stay strong after so many years.
“Hehe, this is my brother Chen Hao. Su Ting, you know him too!”
Li Xiao smiled and said, “Su Ting is already my fiancee. We got engaged three months ago!”
“Oh, Chen Hao. I thought who it was. Hurry up and take care of your customer!”

left.

Lin Dong said, “We want to sell a car!”
Why are we so unlucky! How could the boss actually be Chen Hao’s close buddy? How am I supposed
to scam his money then!
Li Xiao smiled and said, “Oh, oh, who wants to sell their car? Mister, is it you who wants to sell this G
Wagon?”
Lin Dong said, “Haha, I am just helping out on behalf of Chen Hao. The G Wagon belongs to him. He
had been driving it for quite some time so we will sell it to you for a million!”
Then he turned to Chen Hao and continued saying, “Chen Hao, since this is your close buddy, you
wouldn't sell for an expensive price right? As long as you can make a small profit that would be
enough!”
Lin Dong started going on and on before Chen Hao could even say a word.
Li Xiao on the other hand was stunned and said, “Chen Hao, this is your car?”
Chen Hao smiled and said, “Yup. I will explain to you later. It would be great if I could sell this car to you
as well!”
Li Xiao nodded his head and circled around the car to take a look. He then opened up the bonnet and
inspected the interior parts. He said, “This car costs around two million and you barely drove it for a
month. Chen Hao, why are you selling it for only a million? Who is this person that is selling on your
behalf?”
Upon hearing Lin Dong mention selling this car for a million, Li Xiao’s attitude toward him became
hostile.
Lin Dong said, “Chen Hao is selling this car because he is in a hurry to buy a house, get married and
find a job. As long as he manages to sell off this car, Uncle Jiang and I will immediately arrange

Li Xiao looked at Chen Hao with relief. If it was a stable job and a wife, then this transaction was rather
worth it.

Chen Hao could only give a bitter smile.
He was not able to inform his close buddy, Li Xiao that he was just merely repaying a debt of gratitude
on behalf of his father!
“However, Mister, I don't have that much money. Oh right, have a cigarette. I hope you can help look
after my close buddy!”
Li Xiao said while offering a cigarette of his own to Lin Dong.
Lin Dong did not accept his cigarette, instead lighted up his own and took a puff.

we will head to the shop next door! Chen Hao, you see, it's not that we don't want to sell to your close
buddy but he has no money to pay us!”
Lin Dong wanted to embarrass Li Xiao in front of Chen Hao.
“It's okay, there is no need for one million. Take this car for free. I am not using it anyway!”
