Chapter 149 Lin Jiao Lost Her Memories
Chen Hao did not drive, instead he took a cab to the hospital.
Lin Jiao was staying in a private VIP ward. When Chen Hao arrived, the environment was quiet and
peaceful.
“Get out! Get out of my room, all of you! I refuse to be examined until I meet the Young Master who
saved my life. Get lost!” Unexpectedly, he heard Lin Jiao’s angry cry just as he reached the entrance of
the ward.
Soon after, a group of senior doctors and nurses ran out of the room as Lin Jiao started flinging things
in their direction.
“Sigh! Miss Lin really has a bad temper. What if her condition worsens because of a delay in treatment
since she won’t allow us to examine her?”
“Yes, we wouldn’t be able to bear the responsibility then,” said some of the nurses anxiously.
Suddenly, their gazes shifted toward Chen Hao who was carrying some fruits in his arms.
“Young Master Chen, you finally came! The patient is awake and insists on meeting you.”
Several pretty nurses immediately surrounded Chen Hao.
Due to Chen Hao’s extravagant arrival in a Lamborghini the other day, he naturally caught the attention
of the pretty nurses there and they started addressing him respectfully as Young Master Chen.
“Oh, Dr. Zhao, when did Lin Jiao wake up? How is her condition?”
Chen Hao nodded his head casually in the direction of the nurses, then he turned toward the middle-
aged primary care doctor, whose surname was Zhao, and asked.
When Dr. Zhao saw him, his eyes gleamed.
He then waved his hand at the rest of the doctors, signalling them to leave.
“Nice to meet you, Young Master Chen. The patient only suffered a mild concussion, as such, she is
fine now. Moreover, we gave her a type of medication to wipe out her memories. Currently, she has lost
approximately half a month’s worth of it.”
Dr. Zhao smiled in a flattering manner.
Obviously, he seemed to know Chen Hao’s identity.
Chen Hao was puzzled. After sending Lin Jiao here yesterday, he made a phone call to Zhao Zixing
and asked him to arrange a ward in the hospital for her as well as a designated team of medical

However, it wasn't difficult to figure out who did it. What must have happened was, after Chen Hao
hung up the phone, Zhao Zixing must have immediately called up the hospital. Not only did he arrange
for the ward and the medical personnel, he even reminded them to make Lin Jiao forget what had
happened to her.

Lin Jiao grabbed a glass of water and was about to smash it, but she froze instantly the moment she
saw Chen Hao.
To be honest, since waking up from her groggy state last night and after getting over her initial phase of
disbelief, Lin Jiao started to throw a hissy fit after seeing how the medical personnel treated her with
the utmost care.
In the beginning, Lin Jiao had asked them how she ended up in the hospital.
The doctors told her that a Young Master had arranged for her stay in the hospital. Moreover, he even
arranged for her to stay in a VIP ward.

refused to tell her.
In addition to that, all of them were treating her with a mixture of fear and respect at the same time,

“Judging by your loud voice, you seemed to have recovered quite a bit.”
Chen Hao set the fruits down and sat down.
“I’ll be damned. Why did you come here, Chen Hao? Wait a minute, don’t tell me that you rescued me?
But what happened to me? Why don’t I recall anything?”
Lin Jiao asked in surprise.
“I did rescue you. As to what happened, you were walking in the campus grounds that day and
because you were in a hurry, you tripped over a rock and you hit your head against another rock. Then,
I came to your rescue and brought you to the hospital,” said Chen Hao without batting an eyelid.
“Oh, so that was what happened. Ahem!” Lin Jiao covered her face shamefully.
Chen Hao nearly laughed out loud. “Why do you seem disappointed about the fact that I was the one
who rescued you?”
Hmph, of course I am disappointed!
Originally, Lin Jiao had wanted a car to knock her down lightly. The car must be a luxury car and the
owner of the car must be a tall, rich and handsome gentleman.
It would be best if it was raining yesterday night. Then, the tall, rich and handsome gentleman would

“I didn’t bring any apples. Do you want a banana instead?”
Chen Hao was feeling guilty about knocking her down and causing her to lose her memories. He felt
bad about it.
Hence, Chen Hao broke off a huge banana and gave it to her.
“I won’t… Eww! I won’t eat it. Take it away.”
“Chen Hao, can you buy some apples for me? I would like to eat some peeled apples.” Lin Jiao tugged
Chen Hao’s hand.
He immediately pulled his hand back and said, “Ok, I will go get some for you. Just wait here for me.”
With that, he slipped away quickly.
Just as Chen Hao entered the elevator, the elevator beside him opened and four or five girls could be
seen carrying a fruit basket.
“Yifan, did Lin Jiao explain in her call just now? This is the VIP ward you know!”
“Yes, don’t worry Xu Xia, we have agreed on that matter. Come, let’s go and visit her.”
