Chapter 2528 Vibrant Health Clinic

Heath scanned his surroundings. Upon noticing no one was looking in their direction, he uttered to Aliin an undertone, “Ali, it's precisely because we've been acquainted for a long time that I'm offering youfive spirit coins per carcass. If you were to sell them to others, they might not even dare to buy them! The people from Cyan Village have spread the word. They claim their hunting party has gone missingand was killed by someone on the Demon Wolf's territory! Therefore, the people of Cyan Village havedecreed. If anyone comes to sell a large number of Demon Wolf carcasses, we cannot accept thegoods and must report to them. They claimed these Demon Wolf carcasses must have been stolenfrom them. I'm already taking a huge risk, buying these carcasses from you for five spirit coins each. Isuggest you dispose of these carcasses as soon as possible. If others discover and report it to CyanVillage, Rock Village will be in danger.”novelbin

Ali was stunned, listening to Heath's explanation. He had initially thought they could make a fortunewith so many Demon Wolf carcasses. However, now, it seemed he was overly optimistic. He didn'tanticipate the members of Cyan Village would act that way.

The other villagers also looked very disappointed, especially Emily. She had planned to use her shareof money from selling the Demon Wolf carcasses to hire Brutus to treat her grandmother's eyes.Unfortunately, with the current reduced selling price, she wouldn't receive much money.

“Those Cyan Village b*stards! They should all be killed,” Percy muttered in anger.

“Mr. Leeson, can you please increase the price a little?” Ali pleaded with Heath.

“I can't. If you don't want to sell, then forget it.” With that, Heath was about to return to his house, but Alicalled him back. “Mr. Leeson, I'll accept the deal. Five spirit coins it is, then.”

Ali had to compromise. If Heath didn't buy the carcasses, it was even more unlikely that others would.

After exchanging the Demon Wolf carcasses for spirit coins, everyone hung their head, appearingdowncast and upset.

Jared was taken aback upon learning that. I can't believe Cyan Village is so influential here! All thesepeople are afraid of Cyan Village!

Ali didn't distribute the spirit coins among the group after receiving them. Instead, he looked at Emilyand said, “Emily, let's use this money to hire Dr. Weiss to treat your grandma's eyes.”

Emily was momentarily dazed after hearing that. Then, she immediately shook her head and replied,“Ali, everyone risked their lives to earn this money. I can't just take all of it. We should divide it amongall of us.”

“That's not necessary. This is what we all decided.”

“That's right. I'm grateful we were able to survive that predicament, and that's better than receiving anyamount of money.”

“Emily, just take the money and hire Dr. Weiss. If he can cure your grandma's eyes, that would fulfillyour long-held wish!”

The other members of Rock Village who tagged along said to Emily one after another.

Moved to tears, Emily uttered, “Thank you, everyone.”

“All right. You can all go back first. I'll accompany Emily to find Dr. Weiss.” Ali told the others to return, leaving only Percy, Jared, Emily, and himself.

Then, they went to hire Brutus with the money.

Following the narrow streets of Quakersville, they reached its end. On the left was a store with a signthat read: Vibrant Health Clinic.

“What's with that name?” Jared was baffled by the unusual name of the clinic.

“Jared, the name 'Vibrant Health Clinic' means this place can ensure you're full of vigor and vitality.Once you step into the premise, no matter how gravely ill you are, Dr. Weiss can restore the vibrancy ofyour health. That's why it's aptly named Vibrant Health Clinic,” Percy explained to Jared.

Jared smiled faintly in response. He didn't expect Brutus to be so boastful. That piqued Jared's interestto witness just how exceptional the doctor's medical skills were.
