At Beatrice’s words, Cecilia and the others flushed bright red. Meanwhile, Beatrice was beyond eagerto leave and return to Jadeborough. Just as Jared was going to leave with his mother, Santiagoblocked his path.
Initially, he wanted to entrust Hailey to Jared since the latter seemed to be a decent man. Regretfully,there was a bevy of women by his side then.
However, if Hailey did not leave with Jared, their entire family would end up dead when Brad and Clauscame tomorrow. In the end, he had no other choice but to implore, “I hope you can take Hailey withyou, Jared. If she were to stay, she’d definitely lose her life.”

“You should just leave, Jared. I’d be grateful if you could bring my daughter along and treat her well.Brad’s capabilities are above mine.
That aside, he has appropriated the whole of Gate of Thunder’s secret realm and has thousands ofdisciples under him. Even if you were to stay and help me, Violet Cloud Palace is no match for WaxingCrescent Castle.”
Santiago dissuaded Jared from staying to help because he knew the latter’s capabilities. Besides, evenif Jared and his party were to do so, it would merely be a drop in the ocean.

Cecilia and the others nodded while Beatrice urged, “Don’t put up a tough front if there’s nothing youcan do, Jared. Your safety takes precedence.” “Don’t worry, Mom. I’ll accomplish any request from you,even if it means taking extreme measures!”
Having said that, Jared strode out. At that moment, he had to figure out where to get the sheer amountof backup needed. While he had a number of people in the mundane world, their capabilities were toolow. If they were to come to the secret realm to battle, they would be nothing more than cannon fodder.That would be pointless.
In the hidden realm, Matthew and Yashur were relatively strong. Alas, their numbers were too few. Itwould be of little use for them to come over.
