Chapter 2386

At that sight, Wrey let out a loud cry of dismay and quickly gave chase. “This is bad. I walked right intohis trap. I can’t believe that brat still had some strength left…”

Seeing that, the others also followed suit. It finally dawned on them that Jared had deliberatelyprovoked Wrey, then used the impact force of the latter’s punch to escape. That had been his plan allalong!

While Jared was up ahead, fleeing for his life, Wrey and his group were hot on his heels. AlthoughJared had unleashed Ultimate Force, his head still spun, and he felt as though he was about to faint.

“I can’t pass out. I absolutely can’t let that happen…” He bit his tongue hard in a desperate attempt toremain conscious. However, he soon came to the farthest end of the valley. A dark abyss lay at the endof the path where the altar had been destroyed.novelbin

Countless phantoms were still crawling out from the abyss, and after noticing Jared, they brandishedtheir knives and started charging toward him. However, Jared had no wish to fight with the phantoms.Hence, he stepped aside and dodged them.

At that moment, Wrey and the rest finally caught up to Jared. Upon seeing that Jared had nowhere torun, Wrey finally breathed a sigh of relief. Everyone would’ve laughed at me if I had allowed him to getaway!

When the phantoms saw that more people had arrived, they started attacking. As Hugh led the othersto slaughter the phantoms, Wrey fixed his gaze on Jared and sneered. “I nearly fell for your trick, youbrat. Let’s see where else you can run now.”

“I’ve told you that you can’t kill me, so there’s no way I’ll die at your hands. I won’t let that happen…”The corners of Jared’s lips curved upward slightly. Then, with one sudden leap, he jumped straight intothe abyss the phantoms were coming out from!

“What…” Wrey was instantly dumbfounded. It had never occurred to him that Jared would jump inthere. He dashed forward, only to discover that the abyss emitted a lethal intent many times strongerthan that in the valley. Not only that, shrill screams filled the chasm, and phantoms continuouslyswarmed out of it. The scene sent a chill down his spine.

He did not know if he should jump down too and kill Jared with his own hands. Whatever was in theabyss was a mystery to him, not to mention the lethal intent was too strong. As such, he could not helpfeeling at little fearful! Just then, Hugh came over. “What’s the matter?

Did Jared jump in?” “Yes,” Wrey replied, nodding. Hugh glanced into the dark pit before saying,“There’s such a strong lethal intent in there, and many phantoms too. Jumping down there will probablymean the end for him anyway. We should leave this place first, then stand guard at the valley’sentrance. If he does make it out alive, that’s the only place he can go. We can’t kill these phantomsanymore. After we’ve mastered Yona’s techniques, these phantoms will be our best resource.”

Hugh’s reminder stemmed from his worry that Wrey’s desire for revenge would cloud his rationality.Wrey snapped to his senses at those words, and when he saw that many phantoms had been killed, hewas deeply distressed.

“Retreat! Let’s hurry up and get out of here!” Hearing his command, everyone hastily fell back. Whenthey arrived at the entrance to the valley, Wrey had his men close the gates, which stood dozens ofmeters tall, that led to the valley. The reason was to prevent the phantoms from getting out.

We need to learn the techniques first. Only then will we open the gates and kill those phantoms!Turning to Yona, Wrey said, “Here’s your chance for redemption. Teach us your techniques.”

“Very well.” Yona nodded and did not dare to say anything else. After that, she began imparting herknowledge to the group. Thus, Wrey and the people from the hidden realm began learning thetechniques of Demonic Cultivation from Yona.
