Chapter 2369

“What’s going on?” Hugh was stupefied by what he saw. Even Wrey was at a loss. At the same time, the others quickly gathered around to watch..

“Look. There are shadows in the abyss,” yelled someone. As the crowd kept on watching, the shadowsgrew closer and emerged from the depths of the mountain. The sight of the group left Wrey utterlyconfounded.

“Jared, you guys actually went in?” Wrey could not bring himself to believe what he was seeing. Justexactly how did Jared and the others stay in there for so long?

Jared, Matthew, and the others were equally shocked to see Wrey. They had not been expecting Wreyand his men to be waiting there. The two parties exchanged glances briefly before a murderous intentexuded from each. one of them.

“D*mn it. I told you I didn’t kill your son. You just won’t give up, will you? I can’t believe you. actuallywaited here,” Jared scolded Wrey, annoyed by the latter’s relentless pursuits.

“Everything you say is useless now, Jared. You need to die,” hissed Wrey. With an icy expression,Wrey shifted his gaze to Great Diviner. “You traitor. How dare you betray us? Do you plan to die alongwith Jared?”

“I won’t be dying, Wrey. It’s you guys who’ll be dying today. Keep in mind what I do best. I’ve alreadyforeseen your end,” uttered Great Diviner with a snort.

“Hah! You really think highly of yourself, eh? If you were truly a half-immortal, you wouldn’t have to waitat the hidden realm.” Wrey spat on the ground before announcing loudly, “Don’t spare a single one ofthem. We must get rid of them once and for all. In the future, all of the resources here will be ours.”

Everyone in the hidden realm pulled out their weapons, including Jared, Matthew, and the others.Gradually, the tension in the air thickened. In terms of capabilities, Jared’s team was way too weak. Histeam was at a disadvantage be it in terms of number or capabilities..

“Mr. Campbell, Master Diviner, once the fight starts, you’ll need to run. I’m the one Wrey wants, anyway. You guys don’t have to die with me,” said Jared softly..

I’m not running, Mr. Chance. We’ll die together if that’s our end,” replied Matthew in a firm tone. “Mr.Chance, you’re the chosen one, and that means you won’t die so easily. I believe in my divinationskills.”

Great Diviner knew Jared was no ordinary man. There was no way the latter could die so easily.“Attack!” Wrey waved his hand with force, and the people of the hidden realm charged forward.

It was at that moment when the frightening howls sounded from the abyss, followed by a shocking gustof wind. Immediately, a massive group of phantoms spilled from the abyss.

Wrey and the others were dumbfounded. None of the people from the hidden realm dared to fight thatinsane number of phantoms. “Run!” Jared bellowed, leading Matthew and the others away from thescene. Before Wrey and the others could react, they were surrounded by the phantoms, unable topursue Jared and the rest.

In the blink of an eye, loud noises resounded in the area as Wrey and his men fought against thephantoms. Meanwhile, some of the phantoms had caught up with Jared and his companions, leavingthe latter party no choice but to run and fight at the same time. Fortunately, the phantoms could bekilled when they left the abyss.novelbin

While Jared killed the phantoms, he would get a mark for every successful attempt. Thanks to thegroup’s persistence, they managed to get away from the phantoms and Wrey’s group.

Thus, they looked for a safe place to get some rest. Wrey’s group, on the other hand, finally got rid ofthe phantoms, despite looking in bad shape.

“D*mn it. Why did those things suddenly appear? Jared has escaped under our eyes,” Wrey fumed.
