Chapter 2356

Even if Great Diviner stayed back with Divination Sect, they would never be a match for Wrey and hismen. The gap in strength was just too huge.

The moment Jared finished, he snapped off a random branch and began drawing all sorts of signs onthe ground. As the signs began to glow, it became obvious that Jared was carving arcane arrays.

The sight of how easily Jared did so gave Great – Diviner a shock. He didn’t expect Jared to be soskilled in casting arcane arrays. Once the arcane array had been set up, Jared left quickly together witheveryone else.

Soon, Wrey and his men arrived and saw traces of a group resting there. “There’s no escape for them.”Wrey smirked, then led his men in hot pursuit.

No sooner had they made their move than the ground suddenly shook. As if the trees around them hadcome alive, they began to spin around Wrey’s group, preventing them from leaving. “Hmph, a lousyarcane array like this isn’t going to stop us. This is nothing but a joke.”

Wrey unleashed a tidal wave of martial energy with a wave of his hand, razing everything in front of himto the ground. The arcane array was quickly dispelled as the boulders and trees blocking their waywere turned to dust.

Nonetheless, Jared did not expect his arcane array to trap Wrey and his men. All he hoped to do wasbuy some time for their escape. After traveling through the night, Jared led.

Matthew and the others to the place marked on -the treasure map. Greeted by the sight of a bottomlessravine, Jared couldn’t help but furrow his brows, for he could clearly sense a dangerous aura emittedfrom within it.

The ravine stretched for miles and one couldn’t see the end. Moreover, it was so dark that it looksexactly like a tunnel to hell. The stone walls on both sides of the ravine were unbelievably smooth anddidn’t seem to have been formed naturally. In fact, it looked as if someone had cut it in half with asword.

“Mr. Chance, who on earth is this person? Why am I getting this creepy feeling?” Skyler asked Jared. “Ihave no idea.” Jared was clueless as to what kind of place this was. The only thing he rememberedwas that this place was marked on the map.

All of a sudden, a light flashed right in front of Jared, heralding the gradual appearance of a transparentskull floating in mid-air. The sight of it gave everyone a fright and caused them to be on their toes.“Hahaha, you’re finally here. This is the place. This is the place…”

-The skull suddenly spoke. “Who is that, Mr. Chance?” Matthew asked as he stared at the transparentskull. Jared shook his head. “Beats me…”

Both Matthew and Great Diviner were rendered speechless. It turns out that Jared brought us herewithout knowing who we were looking for. Wouldn’t we be in trouble if this was a trap?novelbin

As if it could read their minds, the skull said with a smile, “The abyss is filled with countless treasures. Now, let’s see if you have the guts to go down there.”

The moment it finished, the skull flew into the abyss and quickly disappeared into the darkness. Jaredand Matthew simply stared at each other and had no idea what to do.

Even though Jared could feel the dangerous. aura down below, he also knew that with great risks comegreat rewards. Now, it was a matter of whether they had the courage to do it. As the saying goes, fortune favors the bold.

“Master Diviner, Mr. Campbell, what do we do?”

Jared was cognizant that the abyss was filled with countless dangers and they could easily lose theirlives in it. He wanted to get Great Diviner’s and Matthew’s opinions on the matter.

“Mr. Chance, we’ll go with whatever you decide. If you want to enter, we’ll not hesitate to follow you.”“That’s right, Mr. Chance. We’ll do whatever you say.” Matthew and Great Diviner left the decision inJared’s hands.
