Chapter 2324
After taking a moment to glance about, Jared confirmed that he was inside the secret realm that hadrecently appeared. The spiritual energy in the secret realm was incredibly pure, which gave Jared asoothing sensation all over his body.
However, his own spiritual energy seemed to be suppressed by something, so he could not unleash itat all. “Could it be due to this crystal skull tattoo?” Jared mumbled to himself and tried to rip the affectedchunk of skin off his chest.
Right as his fingers were about to make contact with the tattoo, the crystal skull tattoo emitted a brightlight that knocked his hand aside. “Hey! You should consider yourself lucky that I’m borrowing yourbody, young man! How dare you try to get rid of me?”
An elderly man’s voice rang out inside Jared’s head. Jared glanced about in shock and asked loudly,“Who are you? Show yourself!”
“I’m on your chest! How could you not know who I am after taking my bones? Had you not taken mybones away, I could have resurrected myself using this secret realm! Right now, I can only borrow yourbody until you find me the thing that I need. After that, I will leave your body for good!”
The elderly man’s voice rang out again. That was when Jared recalled seeing a treasure map on top ofthe crystal skull inside his Storage Ring.
When he checked his Storage Ring, however, he realized that the crystal skull was gone. It wasn’t untilhe took a closer look at the tattoo on his chest that he realized it used to be the crystal skull.
“Who are you? I only took your bones out of curiosity. Also, there was a treasure map on top of it!”Jared explained. “Who I am doesn’t matter. You wouldn’t know me even if I told you my name anyway.Look, all you have to do is locate the treasure according to the treasure map!” the elderly man,Ranzoph, replied impatiently.
Jared was frozen in shock when he heard that. He never expected the treasure map on the crystal skullto lead to the newly-opened secret realm.
Since Ranzoph refused to elaborate any further, Jared knew better than to press on. However, he wasnot in his best condition, and he couldn’t help but feel a sense of worry and doubt about what layahead.
“Are you the reason why I can’t fully utilize my spiritual energy?” Jared asked. “What does that have todo with me? You can’t fully utilize your spiritual energy because Heavenly Law is present in this secretrealm. The Power of Dragons and Phoenixes within you have yet to fully merge. That is why you arerestricted by Heavenly Law,” Ranzoph replied.
“The Power of Dragons and Phoenixes?” Jared frowned in confusion, only to recall the phoenix thatwas inside his body before he passed out.
I only have the Power of Dragons within me, though! Since when did I also have the power of aphoenix? Wait a minute… Could this be Feenix, whom I encountered on Demon Beast Mountain? But Ididn’t have any new powers in my body when Feenix and I parted ways, so where is this newfoundpower coming from?
As though Ranzoph had sensed Jared’s confusion, he added, “The power of Dragons and Phoenixes isthe result of the Power of Dragons merging with the Power of Phoenixes! Don’t tell me you’re going torun away from your responsibility after toying with her!”novelbin
Jared got even more confused after hearing what the elderly man said. Huh? I don’t think I have doneanything sexual with Feenix, though… Hold on… I had a really nice dream while I was unconscious fora few days. I thought I was doing it with Evangeline, but then I found out that it wasn’t her, so Iassumed it was just a dream.
Now that I think about it, it is very possible that I did it with Feenix… I must have developed the powerof Dragons and Phoenixes after doing it with Feenix! The two powers probably didn’t have enough timeto merge because it was a very recent thing. The mere thought of having sex with Feenix whileunconscious made Jared feel extremely awkward.
