Jared nodded. Then, he put away the skull in his Storage Ring before burying the rest of the skeletonwith the sand and silt on the ocean floor. Regardless of who this person was, he could now rest inpeace.

“You still have the audacity to ask me why?” Hugh narrowed his eyes. His fury instantaneously burstforth. “You're a shameless couple who have been cheating on me behind my back. Do you think I wasunaware of your betrayal? That Emiliano was your child. Don't assume I didn't know he was completelyunrelated to me. I sent him to the ancient ruins of Narcissus Palace because I knew that place wasdangerous, and he would most likely be sacrificed there. Unexpectedly, he really died.
