Chapter 2198 Obstruction

“Mr. Fairchild, let's hurry inside,” someone urged Emiliano.

“Okay, but everyone needs to be careful. The Narcissus Palace ancient ruins are extremely dangerous, and we don't want to lose our lives.”

Emiliano led the group into the palace.

At the same time, the guardian of Scorching Heaven Sect, Elgado, was still looking for the ancientruins. Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks.

“What's the matter?” someone asked.

The guardian, Elgado, furrowed his brows and said, “Damn it. The Twin Grim Reapers have beenkilled.”

“What? The Twin Grim Reapers have been killed? How is that possible? They're both Fourth LevelMartial Arts God and Fifth Level Martial Arts God when combined! If not the old geezers from the othersects, who could have killed them so easily?” someone asked incredulously.

“I reckon it's someone from Stormwind Sect. They have Garthor. Even though he's young, he's alreadya Fifth Level Martial Arts God. Besides, I heard that he modified his genes and became immortal. If theTwin Grim Reapers encountered him, they wouldn't have a chance to survive!” the guardian saidgravely.

Everyone's faces turned solemn, and they fell silent.

Elgado glanced at everyone before turning to a thin old man who held a token. “Luol, you stay here anduse an arcane array to block the people from Stormwind Sect. We have to find the ancient ruins of

Narcissus Palace before they do. I have an Invigorating Pill here. Take it when you're at a criticaljuncture, and you'll be able to survive!”

Elgado intended to delay the people from Stormwind Sect so that they could locate the ancient ruins ofNarcissus Palace first.novelbin

What he didn't know was that Emiliano from Stormwind Sect had already found the ruins and that itwasn't Garthor who killed the Twin Grim Reapers but Jared.

However, because Jared was not present in the hidden realm, many people did not know of hisexistence. Hence, they wouldn't associate him with the incident.

Luol did not hesitate. He accepted the Invigorating Pill and said to Elgado, “Don't worry. Even if I die, Ican still hold them back. They won't be able to leave my arcane array for at least eight to ten days.”

Luol was quite confident in his magecraft.

“Don't let your guard down. Although Stormwind Sect may not be proficient in magecraft, they mayemploy magecraft masters to do their bidding. Your job is to stop them. Avoid conflicts if possible,”Elgado said to Luol.

“Understood.” Luol nodded.

Elgado led the group to continue the search of the ancient ruins while Luol inserted his token into theground and began to gesture hand seals with both hands. The ground began to shake.

Soon, the scenery around him changed. The dense forest disappeared, and a small stream appeared, with many people living by the banks of the stream.

Not far away was a towering mountain range that stretched for thousands of miles. It seemed to beconnected to the sky.

At this moment, Luol was sitting on a large rock with a dry tobacco pipe in his mouth.

Many people were working, and children were playing around him.

Looking at everything around him, Luol smirked. He was becoming more and more satisfied with hismagecraft.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the forest, Jared and Skyler were still searching for the location of theancient ruins of Narcissus Palace because they had no idea where it was located either.

Jared's spiritual sense was severely restricted within the forest, so he could only search within a fewmiles.

As they walked among the towering trees, they felt increasingly oppressed the longer they were in theforest.

Skyler's face turned pale. She felt as if she was suffocating. She was desperate to get out of the forest.
