Matthew glanced at the time and exclaimed in shock, “Jared managed to cultivate the Spirit ProtectionPill within twenty-seven minutes!”
Meanwhile, Isaac had just finished adjusting the temperature of the cauldron. The herbs inside thecauldron still looked the same as before.
“Haha! Isaac, your skills are lacking. Jared has already finished making the pill, but you aren't evenhalfway through!” Matthew mocked Isaac.
With his eyes filled with disbelief, Isaac rose and walked forward. “That's impossible. How can hecreate the Spirit Protection Pill within half an hour? Could it be a fake? Did you prepare the pillbeforehand?”
Just when Isaac wanted to look at the Spirit Protection Pill in Jared's hand, Jared tossed it to himwithout any hesitation.
“I used your herbs to make this pill, so I'm giving it to you,” said Jared generously.
Since it was only a Level Three pill, it was not precious at all. Jared could make it anytime as long ashe had the right herbs.
Isaac inspected the Spirit Protection Pill over and over again before tossing it into his mouth.
Till then, his face was still filled with disbelief.
“How is it? Is it fake? Your alchemy skills are inferior to Jared's...” said Matthew.
Isaac did not say anything. The shock that engulfed him prevented him from reacting in time.
He stared at Jared with a dead stare, his eyes glancing toward the Divine Cauldron occasionally.
“It looks like the Divine Cauldron is very impressive. Otherwise, you wouldn't have created the SpiritProtection Pill within half an hour.”
Isaac did not believe that Jared's alchemy skills were superior. It was probably all thanks to the DivineCauldron.
Hence, his liking toward the Divine Cauldron grew.
“You lost, Isaac. Stop looking for excuses. Don't forget what you promised Jared. You need to lend himthe Spring of Regeneration!” Matthew reminded Isaac.
“Hmph! He's just opportunistic! You didn't dare to admit that the Divine Cauldron was real earlier. Is itbecause you're afraid that you can't create the pill without the Divine Cauldron?” sneered Isaac with acold snort.
Looking at his reaction, Jared smiled faintly. “Okay, then. This round doesn't count. While you continuecreating the pill, I'll create something else from scratch. If I'm still slower than you, I'll leave instantly.”
A look of fury crossed Isaac's face when he heard what Jared said. “What do you mean? Do you doubtmy alchemy skills?”
Jared shook his head. “I'm not doubting you. I'm merely looking down on you.”
“You...” Isaac's face flushed in anger. "You brat! I'll make you regret this.”
With that, he twitched his fingers, causing the fire beneath the cauldron to blaze even more ferociously.
“What are you doing, Jared? You obviously won!” asked Matthew, unable to understand it.
“I'll win him over completely.”
With that, Jared grabbed a bronze pot and threw it onto the ground. Then, he disappeared in a flash.
Within moments, he found the herbs again and threw them into the bronze pot to create the pill.
Upon seeing how Jared was using an old bronze pot instead of a cauldron, Matthew was astonished.
Meanwhile, Isaac burst out laughing when he saw that. “Your arrogance knows no limit, brat. Are youplanning to compete in alchemy with me using this lousy pot?”
Jared merely ignored Isaac. Flipping his hand, he conjured some spiritual fire and directed it to theherbs. Soon, they started burning.
Even though he was using a bronze pot, a similar medicinal fragrance wafted out of it after around tenminutes. Matthew felt a sense of comfort when he breathed in the hearty aroma.
Isaac started sweating when he saw that. This time, he truly panicked.
