Jessica hesitated for a moment. Then, she finally said, “Because you asked, I'll tell you. I know all thatbecause I heard about them from Mr. Sullivan. It seems he knows quite a bit about Evil Heart Sect andshared many things with me. Don't tell anyone about this. If the sect leader finds out, he'll surely punishMr. Sullivan.”
“Don't worry. My lips are sealed,” Jared promised. Nonetheless, he could not help feeling puzzled. Whydid Patrick tell her all of this? Even if the two are in a relationship, there's no need to touch on thesematters. After all, in the current environment, the more one knows, the more dangerous that could be.
