Chapter 1797

“Of course, I do! I even know there are many of you among the royal family. You guys are in charge ofobserving celestial phenomena and predicting luck.”

As the precious daughter of Duke Ross, Anne naturally had knowledge about Flaming Sect.

Even so, the sect was foreign to commoners, for commoners would not have the chance to come intocontact with them.

But as soon as Anne finished talking, Joel snorted. “Don't even mention them. They're no longer a partof Flaming Sect. They've betrayed our sect and broken our ancestral rules. In fact, they've been kickedout of Flaming Sect long ago.”

“All... I see.”

Anne was utterly dumbfounded. She wasn't aware that the members of Flaming Sect in the royal familywere outcasts of the sect.

“Ladies and gentlemen, as you've seen, someone cast a spell here earlier. They used the spell forsearching caves and tombs,” said Danny to Jared and his group.

“Oh, we saw a few people in robes earlier, but they've left already.” responded Jared.

“Looks like someone's going to beat us to it. We need to leave now.”

After saying that. Joel dashed forward.

Though he was blind, he moved around as if he could see.

Seeing that, Danny quickly ran after Joel with his men.

“Jared, what do we do?” Anne asked.

“We go after them, of course!”

With that. Jared followed after them.

Although the path heading up the mountain was windy, it was a piece of cake for them to catch up withDanny and Joel.novelbin

When Danny noticed Jared and the others had caught up with them, he could not help but frown. “Whyare you people following us instead of descending the mountain?”

“We just want to enjoy the scenery and see if you guys can find the entrance to the ancient ruins. Don'tworry though. We definitely won't fight against you over the tilings in the mins. We're just curious,”assured Jared.

Danny frowned slightly before glancing in Joel's direction.

“Let them tag along. Who knows? They might be useful,” Joel uttered coldly.

Hence. Danny had no choice but to say to Jared. “Keep up. then. Don't blame me if somethingdangerous happens.”

Jared and company followed the duo and walked a distance up the mountain before Joel suddenlyhalted in his tracks.

“What's the matter, Mr. Joel?” Danny asked.

“There’s a restrictive energy ahead of us. We can't move forward until we break it.”

As Joel was talking, he shoved both his hands into the ground and chanted something in a crazedmanner.

Immediately, a ray of light emerged from the ground and shot ahead before exploding all of a suddenwhen it was dozens of meters away.

Following the sound of the explosion, a faint glow appeared where the barrier of the arcane array wasat.

If they had marched forward blindly, they would have been trapped.

Danny was stupefied by what he saw, while Jared was impressed by the blind man.

This man's blind, but he can still accurately detect where the arcane array's barrier is.

“Break the barrier!” yelled Danny. Immediately after that, dozens of men behind him gathered aroundand formed a weird shape.

Not long after that, they unleashed their auras, gathering the auras together, and charged toward thebarrier.

Boom!

A deafening sound erupted, and chunks of snow on the surrounding tree branches were blowneverywhere.

However, when the huge wave of aura struck the barrier, the barrier glowed brilliantly. In the nextsecond, waves of rebound energy shot out continuously like a tidal wave on a rough sea.

At that moment, immense pressure broke the group's formation. Some even winced and gritted theirteeth, struggling to hold their ground.

Thump!

Right then, a powerful force that resembled a huge punch sent the group of people flying. Though theywere alive, they suffered from severe internal injuries.

Danny's expression instantly turned grim.
