Chapter 3409

Jared was flabbergasted upon hearing that. What kind of condition is that? Not only that, she evenwants my baby? I’ve never even thought about having children before! I’ve spent nights with Cecilia,Astrid, Evangeline, and Hailey before, but none of them got pregnant. Wait, does this mean I’m…

He broke into a cold sweat.

He had never thought about that before, and it wasn’t until Catina brought it up that he did.

In response to Jared’s silence, Catina questioned, “What’s with the hesitation? Do you agree to myterms or not?”

Resignation was scribbled all over Jared’s countenance. He didn’t expect that he, the son of a dragonand lord of Dragon Sect, would be blackmailed by a woman like that.

Not only that, but he also had to sell his body to ensure his safety.

“Fine, I agree to your terms. I will sleep with you every night…” Jared nodded helplessly.

He had no choice in the matter. He needed assistance, and he was confident Pablo was still alive, which meant it would only be a matter of time before the latter sought him out again.novelbin

If news of him possessing the Divine Bow leaked out, more foes would flock to him. While Hamish,Misho, and the others could aid him, they were all too weak to fight against Pablo.

However, Catina was different. She was a Seventh Level Tribulator cultivator. If she faced Pablo, shewould stand a chance against him. With Jared supporting her, Pablo could be defeated.

Catina smiled faintly. “Follow me, then.”

“Why did you run so fast, Mr. Chance?” At that moment, Rosetta caught up to Jared, panting. Whenshe saw Rosetta, Catina said, “I don’t care about this little demoness. I don’t get anything out of-”

“No. I promised Mr. Lothian to take care of his daughter. I won’t abandon Ms. Lothian.” Jared shook hishead, refusing to leave Rosetta behind.

If he did, then it was unlikely Rosetta would survive in the Celestial Battlefield.

Catina stared at Jared with slight disbelief. “I didn’t realize you were a man of your word. Very well, then. She can follow us. But you’ll have to sleep with me one extra night.”

Jared frowned, checked his body’s condition, and nodded. “Fine. I’m not afraid.” With how things haveturned out, I doubt that’ll make a difference. Rosetta was startled upon hearing that exchange. “Whatdoes she mean by that, Mr. Chance?”

“Oh, it’s nothing. Just stay close to me and don’t run around blindly,” said Jared somewhat awkwardly.

Rosetta nodded. “Okay!”

The trio proceeded to traverse through the mountains. It was entirely up to luck if they could find anymagical items in the Celestial Battlefield.

At that moment, Jared was much more relaxed because he didn’t have to worry about Pablo anymore.

Suddenly, he thought being a sugar baby wasn’t all that bad.

The expanse of mountain ranges stretched into infinity. Everywhere he looked were plants andstreams, which formed a rather beautiful scenery.

It was an excellent place to cultivate. However, the trio was not in the mood to appreciate theirsurroundings. They were all focusing on searching for magical items with their spiritual sense, afraid

they would miss out on one.

“There should be something good ahead,” Jared said abruptly.

Rosetta and Catina both turned to Jared in unison.

“The spiritual energy ahead is clearly extraordinary. It’s much thicker. There should be magical itemsthere,” explained Jared.

Catina glanced at Jared. “I didn’t expect the spiritual sense of a First Level Tribulator cultivator to bethat sharp. I didn’t even sense anything.”

She was skeptical of Jared’s claim. After all, even though Jared was a Draconian, he was but a FirstLevel Tribulator cultivator. How could she, someone more powerful than him, fail to detect what hecould?

“If you don’t believe me, we can go ahead and take a look.” Jared strode forward.
